After reading the book over 11 times and doing a going through a lots of philosophies I have finally decided time write a review for the most famous Kafkaesque.. So here it goes. Please pardon me with the long analysis, but I couldn’t define it in any less words. "Metamorphosis" is a novella written by Franz Kafka, published in 1915. It's a complex and enigmatic work that has been the subject of extensive literary analysis and philosophical interpretation. Here's a comprehensive analysis and philosophy of the book: Absurdity of existence : Kafka's "Metamorphosis" delves into the absurdity of human existence. The protagonist, Gregor Samsa, wakes up one day transformed into a giant insect. This sudden and inexplicable change highlights the unpredictability and irrationality of life. It's a metaphor for how our lives can take unexpected and absurd turns, leading us to question the meaning and purpose of our existence. I enjoyed reading this novella and seriously I didn't expected it to be that emotional (sad) but it did made me feel something. Quality of papers is good and the copy I got, it had few print error or typos but that's not an issue as long as the content is interesting. This is the first writing of Franz Kafka that I read and I would like to read more.

But one day, he tries to wake up in bed—and he can’t. When he finally registers what's happening, he finds himself transformed into a disgusting vermin. He can’t understand his situation; he thinks he’s dreaming—but he isn’t. He struggles, and somehow manages to stand on his little legs. Now the problem: how is he going to explain this to his family? His boss? He imagines two possibilities: maybe no one in his family will care and he can live however he wants—he doesn’t mind whether he’s a vermin or anything. But on the other side, he’s worried—about his work, his family, how they’re going to manage without him. How are they going to survive without his money? When his family finds out, drama ensues. At first, they care about him and worry—especially until his savings help them survive. But eventually, when the money’s gone, when they’re broke, they see Gregor as a burden. He overhears their conversations from his room. He becomes lonely and desperately craves love from his family—but they don’t give it. This novella shows how every relationship can change—that people often love conditionally, and sometimes they don’t even care for you. If you think practically, you can understand how Gregor feels—you can relate and say yes, this happens in real life too. But if you think emotionally, your mind says, No, this can’t be true. No matter what happens in other relationships, your family stays with you—so how can they behave like that QOTD– So, tell me—are you thinking practically or emotionally?

Paperback is good!! Like this cover too!! A suitable price for bookworm!!

Perturbador, mas um clássico. Vale muito a pena.

It was a fun read even though it's bizarre and sometimes confusing, but fun read nonetheless. Even the cover picture was the same.
