Small as described but very nicely made. It holds my new wire rims perfectly, though is able to handle my slightly larger glasses as well. Wanted small and slim. I got it and it’s perfect!

My business partner was looking for a very thin small eyeglass case for his reading glasses that he could put into shirt or pants pockets. I found this one on Amazon. We looked at the description and inside dimensions and thought it might work if the dimensions were correct. It was a perfect fit. So far it's a very sturdy, well-made case. It has a very strong spring, that could pinch fingers if they get in the way. (We're not complaining!) Bottom line: Accurate description of the dimensions and we're very happy to have found it. Thanks again, Amazon, for having unique items for sale. We had looked everywhere for at least a year when his old case started falling apart! Gone are the days of him pulling out a tattered, falling-apart eyeglass case. Instead he has a beautiful, classy-looking case.

I've bought these before. They fit my glasses and protet them fine. In my case they get a lot of opening and closing because I switch from reading glasses to regular glasses. The hinges break after about a year and a half of use.

Whether this case is a 1 star or 5 star will totally depend on how you use it. I keep it in my front pocket every waking moment so my glasses are at hand. Today, after 3 months of ownership, the close spring broke ending it's life. I will say it had taken a beating over that short life. I'm fairly certain if it didn't get so much strain from being in my pocket when I'm working on the house over the weekends then it would probably still be going fine. If you need a wonderful case that keeps your glasses protected in all circumstances this is it. If you subject it to a lot of bumps and bangs then you're going to need 4 to get through a year. I just ordered a replacement so that says a lot about how good it is. I wish it could take a little more pounding but my glasses aren't broke the case is so it did it's job. Just not long enough to be a 5 star product.

The case that came with my glasses worked well, but it was always too bulky to carry comfortably in my pocket. This one is the thinnest option I could find that still fits my glasses properly. As I’ve gotten closer to 50, my near vision has gradually worsened, making it harder to read menus, grocery labels, and even my phone. What used to be occasional, desk-only glasses have now become something I need to carry with me all the time. Because of that, this slim case has already been a game changer for me.

These cases are really nice because they are thin and fit in my pocket. However, they don’t last. I gave them several chances, but they just keep on breaking. I bought my first one in July 2022, but almost immediately the lining fell out. Amazon sent me another one in August and that one lasted till May 2023, at which point the spring in the hinge broke. So I bought another one. That one lasted till February 2024 when the hinge broke again. So on February 4, 2024 I bought another one, and on March 29, 2024 the hinge broke again — too late to even return it since Amazon only has a 30 day return window. This for me was the last straw and I will never buy another one again. But that’s not the end of it. Since I liked these cases, I bought one in a different color for a different pair of glasses in July 2023 and it looked like someone had been throwing it around. Amazon replaced it, but the one they sent did not line up when it was closed. Amazon replaced that one too, and this replacement was much better, but still did not line up correctly when closed. I just kept that one and as of March 2024, the hinge is still fine — but I’m expecting it to break any day now. Don’t buy these cases.
