crumbly granulated cake
Following the recipes posted by others is making the cake crumbly and granulated tastes weired, now I don't know if it's because of the gel or something else There should be recipe given by CCDS

Good for texture but not for volume
I tried eggless vanilla cake using the gel. It gave a really great texture to the cake, almost identical to what you buy from a bakery. The cake was soft and moist. But it didn't contribute much in increasing the volume. Need to try now with eggs and see how it turns out.
