Bamboo Pads - Day (16ct)

I want to use clean, body-safe pads that are more sustainable. I'll eventually transition to fabric pads and a menstrual cup, but in the mean time I'm happy with Flo pads. I've tried several other organic brands, and this one has become my go-to, for a few reasons. Most natural pads boast cotton as their main ingredient, but I don't like it as a single-use item because it's very resource-intensive to grow. I also have concerns about pesticide residue on cotton and don't want to use it "down there" for that reason (even if the pesticides are Organic). I feel like bamboo might be a more sustainable option for now, although my ultimate goal is to stop using disposable pads. As for comfort and function, I feel these are 10/10. The upper layer is soft and very absorbent, even on heavy days. I use their "Day" pads and "Night" pads (which are longer in the back to catch leaks in bed) and they're all great. I do wish there was the option to buy them without the individual plastic wraps. Those are convenient when you need to carry them in your purse and keep them clean, but at home I feel wasteful unwrapping every single one.

Good quality and comfortable to wear, doesn’t have that awful perfume smell like others do. But I don’t understand how I can continue using these are they simply don’t stick. No matter the material of your underwear these do not stick properly at all, so as a result they move around and cause leakages. I don’t need this extra anxiety.
