The perfect Christmas gift — fun, easy to use, and amazing value
This was a Christmas gift for my “big boy” — my husband — and he LOVED it! The DJI Neo Three-Battery Combo is an amazing little drone that delivers way more fun and quality than we expected. The drone feels very well made, easy to use even for beginners, and incredibly fun right out of the box. The 4K camera produces great footage for its size, and the self-flying features make it enjoyable without feeling complicated or intimidating. The three-battery combo is a HUGE plus — honestly, it’s super necessary. It lets you enjoy longer flying sessions without constantly stopping to recharge, which makes the experience so much better. For the price, this combo is an excellent deal. Pros: Fun and intuitive to use (great for beginners and adults) Excellent build quality 4K video quality for such a small drone Three batteries included — very practical and needed Great value for the price Perfect gift idea Cons: None so far — it does exactly what we expected and more If you’re looking for a fun, high-quality drone for adults or a gift that will actually get used and enjoyed, this one is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

I love my Neo, get yours soon!
Recently read that the government is trying to ban the sale of DJI drones in the US. Seems like politicized nonsense. This drone is awesome, especially for beginners and infrequent users. I use the phone controls, which I'm told are not as good as the dedicated hardware controller. But they work great for me. I love the pre-programmed skills. The follow and land features are brilliant. And for such a tiny drone, the image quality and stability even in light wind is incredible. Get yours now and buy a spare battery. You'll have the best affordable drone on the market before our broken government tries to take them away from us.

This is one of the best purchases I've made
I’ve gone through a handful of drones trying to avoid spending big money. After losing a couple in the past, I tried to stay under the $1,000 mark. In order from cheapest to most expensive, I’ve owned the Ruko F11, SJRC F11, and HoverAir ProMax. The Ruko and SJRC were exactly what you’d expect for the price: limited features, mediocre build quality, and not something you’d trust for anything serious. The HoverAir ProMax was the first one that felt like a real product, but it’s basically a selfie drone. It markets itself as a first-person drone with features like Follow-Me, but that mode barely worked. Even after spending extra on the controller, it constantly lost track of me. Between the drone and accessories, I spent around $1,000 and still couldn’t rely on it. So when I picked up the DJI Neo, I wasn’t expecting much. I was wrong. It’s a fantastic drone. The DJI Neo has many of the same features as the HoverAir, but there are trade-offs. The HoverAir definitely has sharper photo and video quality, and it has sensors on more sides. But the DJI Neo is half the price, and more importantly, it can be fully remote-controlled. With the DJI RC2 controller, I can fly it confidently across my entire 15-acre property, about a mile out, without issues. The HoverAir’s controller was limited to basic movement, maybe 100 feet of usable range, and constantly losing signal or tracking. One feels like a true drone, the other feels like a novelty item. Yes, you sacrifice a bit of image quality with the Neo, but what you gain is a real drone experience: real range, real control, real reliability. Nothing kills the experience faster than constantly turning around on a trail to see if your drone stopped following you and then walking back 50 feet to retrieve it. I dealt with that constantly with the HoverAir. With the DJI Neo, that’s never been a concern. If you want a dependable drone that actually flies instead of just hovering next to you for selfies, the DJI Neo is absolutely worth it.

Must-Buy for Winter Flying—Easy to Control Indoors.
I absolutely love my little Neo! As someone who owns multiple drones, I was thrilled to find this Mini 4 Neo works great with all my different DJI controllers: the regular controller, the RC Plus with screen, and the FPV controller with goggles. All connections worked perfectly with no issues. Ideal for Indoor Flight While the flight time on these tiny batteries isn't long, it comes with three batteries and they charge fast, making extended flight sessions easy. This drone is perfect for flying indoors during the winter or in high-ceiling environments. Be aware that it is very light (not for high winds) and lacks obstacle avoidance, so you need to be careful. Pro Tip for New Pilots Like most small drones, lighting is key: If you lose GPS, it defaults to hover. If it gets too dark, the drone can behave strangely. This is normal, but new pilots should be aware. (Adding a small light helps, but adds weight and affects flight time.) Even with these considerations, the Neo is a great indoor flier, even if my dogs hate it!

Welcome to FPV
I tried using the Motion Controller 3 that comes with this kit but I am poor at learning I guess because I fly very poorly with it. I ended up purchasing the DJI FPV Controller 3 to use with this kit. It costs 50 percent of what this entire kit does. With the addition of that controller this is a really nice kit. Unfortunately the Goggles N3 do not fit glasses so well as people claim. I switched to a diff framed pair of glasses and still they don't fit perfectly but much better and usable. It is a bad fit not due to the outside edges of a large frame on the glasses but it is the depth that is the issue squishing the glasses into your nose. That being said, wow, this is awesome and I am very happy with the experience now that I have used it a few times and got used to putting the goggles on and off without displacing my glasses in the process. Unlike the more expensive Goggles 3 and other brands of goggles, these N3 do not have other options for the foam cushion to make them a better fit. Hopefully someone who makes better foam cushion surrounds for other goggles will add one for these N3 goggles as well. So far my searched turned up nothing. This drone is nice and many options for control - no control, phone control, motion controller 3, out of the box. If you want to pay extra you can use with dual stick fpv controller 3 but it is expensive. If you want to buy the dji dual stick controller for camera drones which is not fpv you can use that also and it is cheaper since it is not fpv. You can also buy the very expensive controller with video screen but that seems overkill for this little drone. Overall a very capable drone for its size that is also legal without a drone license and registration with FAA. Neo requires only taking the free 20 minute online course and TRUST drone safety test to fly legally in compatible areas. To be legal you must have the TRUST certificate with you when flying. For FPV you are also supposed to have a spotter the same as water skiing so keep that in mind. You can't see the drone when flying it with Goggles. FYI: actual flight time for this drone with FPV goggles and controller is around 7 to 12 minutes - not 18 like the bare drone with no controller flying its automated modes. By tiny whoop standards that is good btw. Charging of all components and batteries is surprisingly slooooooooow regardless of the power of your charger. Expect an hour for each drone battery, 2 to 3 hours for the Goggles N3 and somewhere in between for the controllers. You see now why combo kits have 3 batteries. Only a quick start guide in the package - download the manuals for the Neo, Motion Controller 3 and the Goggles N3 from DJI website. Also download the Android DJI FLY App from their website as you will need it to update the firmwares before first flight. You will need them because there are a lot of options on each device. Also, the quick start only says to charge the drone but you will also want to charge fully the goggles and controller and other batteries before flying. Ok so the gist is this NEO is an awesome FPV experience for someone who has never flown FPV and needs some automated help to get used to the whole FPV experience and flight control before attempting to go full FPV flyboy by enabling manual mode. Or maybe you never enable Manual mode if you don't want. And you can use it without a controller or with camera drone style control if you find FPV is not for you. So far I am glad I purchased this kit and also the FPV Remote Controller 3 sold separately. This Neo is so good of an FPV experience that I only knock 1 star for having to pay another 50 percent more for another controller that I can actually control. I know, I drone on and on LoL

Great for minimalist traveling, amazing price for what you get
This is a great simple minimalistic travel drone. I also have mini 3 pro and the autel nano. This drone I like because it is more travel, friendly and smaller. The drone types serve at very different purposes for me. This one is handy to have while backpacking the planet on the trip I'm on for about a year. I left my other drones at home because i knew I might be an uzbekistan, which has very harsh drone laws (at the time, I was traveling there. The rule was, they just take your drone away. And you don't get it back). I bought this drone when I was in thailand i've been using it around my travels for a few months now. It's so light simple and easy. Because I travel with a single small carry on backpack i opted to buy no additional battery, no Radio, just the drone, and I just use my phone to control it. It is absolutely perfect for getting simple shots from great perspectives. If you're looking for longer battery life and more agility, like the other models I mentioned, then, this drone is probably not what you are looking for. But if you want high enough quality shots for things, such as youtube channels and other social media platforms, then this is your drone. Follow me works extremely extremely well, and i've used it in quite confined spaces. Manual control works quite well on the phone. You can tilt the camera down and up quite a bit and record in both horizontal and vertical format. The control interface on the phone is surprisingly good.

Clear quality and easy to set up
It makes the color standout without editing the picture. Initial set up very easy to connect as long you follow simple instructions. Easy to control and works just right. Not completely wind resistance, due to is so light.
