竹林整備をしています。 エンジンチェーンソーを主に使用し、竹の伐倒、玉切りをしています。 補助の鋸として、ゼットソーZ 折込鋸 タックイン 210 細目を携行していました。 ゼットソーの細目は竹への刃の入りが良いのですが、鋸を引く回数が多くなり切断に時間がかかっていました。 試しにゼットソー荒目の刃に替えて、伐倒、玉切りをしました。 荒目の刃は細目に比べて、竹の表面で滑りやすいので、竹に押し付けるように力を入れて引けば刃が食いこみます。 刃が入り始めれば、ザクザクと切り進み、切断時間の短縮が出来ました。 以上の荒刃の試し切りの結果を踏まえ、作業効率の更なる向上を期待して本製品を購入しました。 本製品は折込鋸としては巨大です。 35cmのバーをつけたエンジンチェーンソーよりも全長が長く、折込時も幅広です。 携行にはビックボーイ携帯ケースが便利です。出し入れ時は適度な抵抗感があり、ケース内で遊ぶことはありません。 ○柄と刃が長いことのメリット 太い竹も両手で引けるので、竹の重さに負けずに切り進められます。 片手でも十分な切断性能があります。 急斜面でのチェーンソー使用は、足元の安全確保、重さ4kg程度のチェーンソーの取り回しなど、怪我をしないように気を使いますが、本製品は軽量で取り回しやすく、長さを生かして安全な場所から作業が出来ます。 ○柄と刃が長いことのデメリット 腰袋に収まらないので、携帯用のケースがないと、携行に工夫が必要です。 刃の厚みがあるので丈夫ですが、長さがあるのでしなります。 刃の先端部分での切断は、刃先の動きに注意しています。 両手で雑に引くと刃が材に引っ掛かり、刃がしなって折れそうになります。 引くスピードよりも、刃の長さを生かすようにすれば、他のレビューのような刃折れは回避できそうです。 ○その他 斜め切りも問題なくできるので受け口作りも簡単です。 鏡面仕上げの刃は汚れが落ちやすく、やり取りスプレーで簡単に綺麗になります。 竹林内の雑木の枝払い、伐倒にも使用しています。 動画より 1本目の竹は、カメラを片手に右手のみで鋸を引いています。 2本目の竹は、両手で弾いています。途中で刃がしなっています。少しだけ斜め切りしています。

果樹農家が使用した感想ですが、直径10センチ程度ならスパスパ切れます。ゆっくりやれば直径20センチ位も苦もなく切れます。

ハンディーチェーンソーの購入を検討していたが、メンテナンスや使用の危険性、価格を考えて二の足を踏んでいた。形状が使いやすそうで切れ味に定評のある本製品を購入してみた。これまで使ってみた鋸とは別次元の切れ味！切断スピードは速いしいい製品です。よほど伐採する庭木がないならこれで十分と思います。ただ注意点としてはしっかり刃を使い切らないと遅いし切れなくなる。また長い分たまに刃がたわんで折れそうになった。やっぱり手動は疲れるという個人的理由で★一つマイナス

切れ味、使いやすさ等申し分ないが、使用し始めてすぐ鋸を閉じるときに押す部分のピンが抜けてきた(カシメ不良？）。応急処置し使用中。
