It has been approximately three weeks since I began using this in my home office and hallway, and its uncomplicated plug-and-play operation has made everyday monitoring surprisingly easy to do. I immediately connected the camera to a regular USB power adapter and then used the swivel mount that was provided in the package to put it on top of a bookshelf while it was still in its packaging. I was able to see the live video broadcast on my computer screen in a matter of seconds; there was no need to go through the hassle of setting up an app or juggling several passwords. Every movement in the frame is simple to monitor because of the sharp resolution, which produces seamless motion. This is true whether it's my cat walking by a doorway or a delivery truck coming up to the street. In the course of broad daytime hours, the sensor of the camera is able to record vivid colors and crisp edges without exhibiting any discernible warping or fisheye distortion. I put it to the test by strolling about my workplace while wearing shirts of varying colors and exposing myself to a variety of lighting angles. The monitor displayed every intricate feature with pinpoint accuracy. When I wanted to make sure that my indoor plants were getting enough sunshine, the fact that the shadows remained well-defined rather than blotchy proved to be a very helpful tool. Because there is no audio recording, the video is just visible, but for my needs, which were to observe movements and confirm presence in certain locations, this constraint did not interfere with the camera's primary function in any way.
