Amazon Essentials Men's Athletic-Fit Chino Pants

Received my new chinos in khaki (true military khaki color, not one of the variations) and couldn't be happier. Well made, nice cut, and fits perfectly. True to size, metal zipper, nice fabric weight for three season wear with just the right amount of stretch. I've purchased several pairs of Amazon Essentials pants over the last few months and have not been disappointed yet. Jeans, 5-pocket twills, and now chinos all in 34x31 athletic cut and all have been consistently comparable to much more expensive brands. I'm not a bot, just a happy guy with an appreciation of quality at a bargain price.

Out of box a little large but they shrunk to true size in the washer/dryer. These are going to be my daily wears this summer; not too hot, but thankfully not “Tech Pants” the color is perfect for the office or church, not too preppy. Definitely worth the money, so much so, I think I will be buying another two pairs on top of the 3 I already bought. Very comfortable, zipper functions well so far, belt loops were well made and large enough for medium size belt. Pockets are deep enough.

The fabric is soft and substantial. Tailoring is fine for the price. The athletic fit, however is too full, especially in the back of the legs. Color is a too sundued.

I LOVE these pants. I had to replace some chinos that i loved and had paid $80+ per pair, these were 1/5 of the price and I swear are identical to the designer brand I was replacing , love these so much I ordered more ! They are true to size , have a bit of stretch and are super comfortable !

Excellent quality and accurate sizes. The fabric is substantial and sewn well. I would rather not have a button, but for the price, I’ll work with it. I’ll buy these again.

The fit is not really as described. Waist is fine. Hip and thigh have a generous amount of space but still don't look bad, appropriate for "athletic" fit. From the knee down though it looks like a parachute. These fit more like relaxed style baggy jeans than "athletic" fit. If you need extra space these will probably be fine for you. But if you're thinking these fit like other brands with "athletic" fit, they don't. Leg opening is supposed to be straight, these are way to loose. This may also just be an issue with the 34 in inseam but it is a bit too long. I'm 6' 4" and every pair of pants or jeans I get are 34 in inseam. These are the first that the pant leg drags on the heel and bunches up a curtain around my ankles. Positives are that the material feels like what you would expect sub $30 pants to feel like. Color is as described.

These pants are actually made way better than brands at 5 times the price point. Absolutely worth the money. The athletic cut is nice and roomy in the thigh and I'm very pleased with how they have worn. I have gotten a few of their pants over the years, but this is by far the best style.

Okay, so far I'm impressed. I just received these chinos, but they've already exceeded my expectations for what is essentially a generic product at under $25. I normally buy from Uniqlo, but they discontinued my go-to pants and I'm not really digging the styles that they're producing at the moment. I recently picked up a pair of Dockers, but wasn't blown away by them by any means - they're pretty average chinos. I found these chinos and thought why not, the price dropped a bit and I grabbed a couple pair for something like $21 each. Worst case scenario, it's a free return. These are surprisingly good pants though! The material is thicker than I expected it to be, but not so much that it feels oppressive to wear. Good amount of stretch to them, feels just right for the pants. They fit exactly like I expected them to for the size, both waist and length, so no surprises there. And they're comfortable. Like, really comfortable. They just feel good to wear. I bought a pair of Charcoal and a pair of Dark Blue (which is lighter than what I consider to be actual dark blue, but I didn't come up with the names). The colors were true to the photos, which is what matters and what I was hoping for. Bonus: I didn't notice in the photos or the description that there was an additional little pocket on the right side (not sure how I missed that detail), so that was actually a nice surprise. It's just right for carrying my AirPods. Quite frankly, I hope these are pants that Amazon doesn't choose to discontinue any time soon because I've been steadily loosing weight with diet and exercise, and I'd like to be able to keep sizing down with these as I go. I already like these more than I like the Dockers I recently picked up, and if the quality holds up over a reasonable amount of time, then I'll probably like these better than the pants I was buying from Uniqlo for the last I-don't-know-how-many years.

It is great to be able to get fractional fitting trousers and they true to size

I'm 6ft 250 with a broad build, big thighs, and a bit of a belly. Bought the 38 x 31 and 38 x 22; the latter had a bit too much length for the cleaner look I wanted. These fit well,fitted but not tight. Very comfy fabric that breathes well. I traveled with them packed both rolled and folded neither method created much wrinkling and no "deep" wrinkles. They're easy to iron. I've only washed in cold water and hung to dry; I'm hesitant to put them in the dryer. I'll definitely be buying more colors.
