Highly Recommended.
Yes, it smells. But, most importantly, it works. And it works well.

Good product so far!
This fixative is a fine mister. There is no ball within the can like other fixatives have, but do shake then spray. I have two that are fine art fixatives without the inner mixing bead inside and this one actually does not smell as potent as the other, which I'm thankful for. The other brand is so strong in smell that I have to spray and walk away, and this is outdoors. This fixative isn't as smelly. If a bit too much is applied, it can cause the paper to almost bend, or bow. I work in graphite on a 98lb paper. Maybe I need to let it dry a bit more between coats. But I like it so far. I use all the fixatives I have, and I've only used this one twice. I'll continue to use it, and observe any future details about it's affect on my artwork and the quality of this product. It does dry pretty quick, and so far, I like it.

Actually seals the chalk
Excellent product compared to everything else I tried for chalk pastel art.

Great (necessary) for pastels
I’ve started doing more art with soft pastels since I can get watercolor painterly effects with a little less mess and (sometimes) more control. Trouble with pastels is that (a) they wipe off on other surfaces (b) they simply fall off the paper if you don’t handle them carefully (c) the color gets on your hands if you, well, handle the paper. So, while many sources say you shouldn’t do this, since it may alter the color, I’ve taken to spraying the finished work with a couple of layers of this fixative. It works well and, while I still can’t manhandle the finished work, at least it’s not leaving its mark on everything it touches. Recommended.

High quality. Care needs to be taken in applying. Expensive but high quality.
High quality material essential to protect your work. A bit disappointing in the amount contained in can. Application not easy to control amounts used. Strong odour. Apply out of doors.

Easy Flow, No Clog
I love how easy it is to spray for a long period of time without the nozzle clogging. A frustrating problem I’ve experienced with other brands.
