I'm not new to TENS. Whenever I go to a physical therapy appointment or see my chiropractor, I get a TENS session. It's great for releasing tension in super tight muscles in my back. TENS uses a kind of electric current that is safe and stimulates the muscles to release tension. I love it.When I learned you could get portable versions to use at home, my chiropractor recommended one to me. That was my first at home device. This one is my latest. Even smaller and sleeker than the one I had before.This TENS unit is portable, super light and powerful. I use my favorite setting and turn it up to the highest strength that is comfortable for me. Very effective at reducing tension in my tight back muscles. I've even used it on my thighs before.I also love that it's rechargeable, which means no plugging into a power socket. And it's smaller than a cell phone. So i can tuck it into my pocket and be up and about while it does it's thing. I don't have to lie around tethered to a power plug! It also comes with a variety of pad sizes, and two sets of wires, so you can have 2 or 4 pads going at once. It's a great little device and the price is right!

I’ve only used it once for about an hour. I bought it in hopes it would help with my carpal tunnel.I’m really shocked (no pun intended) on how strong and small this is. Really nice packaging, everything sealed and new. Comes with a carrying bag too. Very easy to use after a quick read through directions.It may be too early to really tell but I have to say I did get some relief. Has over six different settings and it really packs a charge in the highest setting. For just under $30.00 I’m giving this 5 stars and a must buy. As a bonus it has extra pads so you can really cover any area that’s needed and you can actually use it with some one else since it has the extra pads and inputs on the unit. It also comes with a charger and wire. The unit is rechargeable and the display is bright and clear showing all settings and battery life.Definitely worth the price. I’m giving this a strong buy recommendation.

I have been using my new rechargeable TENS unit for about a month now. I find it extremely easy to use, and quite effective at reducing my chronic aches and pains. I use it as needed for hip, lower back, knee and ankle pains from various injuries that I have suffered over my clumsy lifetime. I have also noticed some relief from my peripheral neuropathy foot pain. I seem to get around 48 hours of relief without the use of additional pain killers.Although this TENS unit is not a cure, it does soothe the achey feeling I sometimes have from over-use, long periods of standing, or the change in the weather. This little unit is easy to take to any location (patio, sofa, car trip etc) so I can do a little pain therapy anytime!Having experienced a professional TENS unit in therapy sessions, I wouldn't call it an identical experience, but it is very effective. The unit is abbout the size of an iPod, and the materials seem sturdy and well made. I don't expect it will be as durable as professional quality medical devices, but then it isn't as expensive either! In other words, it is well priced for what it does, but probably not the sort of thing that will last for decades.The unit has two sets of electrode leads that can be used simultaneously. I do note a fall-off in output strength when both sets are employed, but I suppose that is to be expected. Also, the output seems to feel weaker on one channel- Not sure if that is by design, but it is a workable situation. The user interface is not immediately intuitive, but easily understood after a few minutes of tapping the screen icons. There are a variety of stimulation patterns available in the settings, ranging from smooth and gentle to very strong and targeted- so most users will be able to find an effective setting or maybe a few favorites! Power settings are reset when you hit the Home button which allows you to safely switch between therapy pattens without unpleasant sudden power shifts, and so if a setting is too strong you have a quick failsafe.The pads that the TENS unit comes with are varied in size to deliver the appropriate stimulation as needed. The self-stick gel pads are great and stay put. They are made from a highly tacky homogenous gel that can be reused many many times. They can be wiped off (I use antibacterial alcohol based gel) or washed to remove skin oils as needed. They do not require any goo, nor do they leave any adhesive residue.At the price that this unit is offered (under $40) I am considering this as a gift for a family member that has work related aches and pains. I think this little gem would help out immensely! TENS is good for anyone with chronic joint or muscle aches and can also be useful for pain associated with Fibromyalgia or diabetic nerve pain.One thing I would suggest to potential buyers is to do a little research, because there are some important things to know about using any TENS unit. I will not go into detail, just look into it- and of course, check with your doctor to make sure TENS is safe for you to use.

It works really well. I purchased it because my pain management doctor recommended that I try a tens unit. While using it and for some time after, my pain disappeared. I have terrible muscle cramping on my neck and mid back. I get cortisone shots monthly and the tens unit helps in between.This specific unit is easy to use and works well. I bought this unit over others because it is rechargeable and the reviews were good. I do recommend it.

Works great, love the size. Only comes with two small pads but they are cheap. Half per is more than enough to get my foot twitching. Amazing for chronic pain.

Immediate delivery, Fast charge. Charge hasn't run down yet. Easy to follow instructions. Straight forward start up. Small size appreciated as the unit can easily slip into my pocket while in use. My only question is about the instructions, where there was no indication of what kind of issues benefits most for the various modes. Oh, and the next day delivery was great. Recommended it to my daughter who is having back spasms after some over zealous gardening. She just got it today and is up and running.
