Suitable for both interior and exterior use—including swimming pools—this water-resistant microcement offers a fine texture with fast, clean application and customizable pigmentation, covering up to 50 m² per container. ## Description PRESENTATION: Container containing 20 kg. powder ready to mix under running water. For the preparation of the product, you must first pour 6.5 liters of water into a container and gradually add the powder and knead. The amount of water will depend on the absorption of the support, climate and workability. To be applied on a vertical surface (wall, for example), a denser mass is required. For application on soils with sprat, the mass should be more liquefied. Application of 2 pigmented coats with Satine pigment (see Satin Pigments). If the shade of the pigment that we are going to use is very dark, the product will require up to 2 extra liters of water. The amount we must pour water will be dictated by the workability of the material itself, that is, if the material hardens very quickly, it is because it needs more water. Excess water is not a drawback, since this product contains specific resins to admit it, being preferable to exceed the amount than to fall short. APPLICATION: Allows application between layers fresh on fresh, over Xtreme or Base layer. It is understood the application fresh on fresh when the material looks wet but is not tender nor dry, so you can walk over. With this system it is achieved that the aggregates of both layers are fused together achieving a uniform layer of great resistance. And it also allows a considerable saving of time by avoiding sanding, since burrs or imperfections that may remain in the application will not be sanded when covered by the next layer. In case of not making a fresh on fresh application, it is important not to take more than 24 hours to sand because it can be an expensive task due to its extreme hardness. To use a large sander (polishing type) a grit between 120 and 180 can be used. In the case of doing it with a hand sander, a grit between 180 and 240 can be used as an extremely resistant material. To be able to sand the corners it is necessary to do it with a corner regularization tool. (See Satine Rail product.) If it has been applied on an Xtreme basis, it is understood that the planimetry of the existing support has been duly rectified, therefore, with one hand of this material will be more than enough, as long as it is not a finishing layer, since in this case two hands would be applied. CONSUMPTION: Consumption of this material will be between 600 g and 1 kg. per layer and square metre, depending on the support on which it is applied. This is the consumption that is considered ideal for an application on a smooth support and with a thickness to what gives the aggregate, leaving no more layer than that which the aggregate itself allows. If more layers were applied than the aggregate itself allows, a suitable planimetry would not be achieved, therefore, the last finishing layer would look full of bulges. RECOMMENDATIONS: They are not filling materials, therefore, we work to what gives the aggregate. Pigment the two layers. All kneads should carry the same proportion of water so as not to alter the color tone. Continuously clean the tool to prevent the material with high adhesion and hardness, from drying on it. It is recommended to use stainless steel tools. It is advisable to use Satine rubber trowel for vertical work and when the material is wet to compress the aggregate thus preventing its subsequent sanding. Recommended the use of corner pallet for interior corners or corners. The holders must be clean of oil, grease and dust. For swimming pool system, although the single-component base is valid, at least 4 mm is recommended.
