Works outdoors, excellent speaker, great features/controls FIVE PLUS STARS!
Used this for a youth camp that had lots of outdoor gathering places with wide open spaces. Clear sound, carried well, able to hear very well for about 100 people in an outdoor amphitheater surrounded by trees or around a flag with wide open fields. I could even hear the soft-voiced shy 12-year-old girls very clearly. Loved the ability to adjust mic or aux sound. Bluetooth worked like a charm! Able to adjust base so can help tune down that deep base for better voice or turn it up for better dance music. Able to even fill a huge meeting hall (occupation 350) where acoustics are horrible but sound still as clear and good as the $1000 speaker system installed. Only thing I would add would be a way to store the cord/mic and have a carrying strap to haul it around. The handle is great, but when you are walking 1/2 a mile, it gets a little cumbersome. Sound is really good, and my teen daughter loves to use this as her bluetooth speaker at home. Charged once for a whole week of use. One charge easily lasts 8 hours. Because of the type of battery, will have to charge periodically (can't just store it away for another year), but that should not be problem given how much my daughters use it around the house. Could also be great for karaoke. I would DEFINITELY recommend this speaker for an outdoor gathering PA system. It was absolutely amazing!

Good speaker.
This is a nice speaker unit for amplifying my violin at weddings, etc. The sound is good and there is adequate volume and tone adjustment. I also like that it has a battery. It does work with the Beringer wireless microphones, but be aware that using the wireless mics shuts down the input plugs. Thus, don’t plan on using the proprietary wireless system and plugging in an instrument. You can use the wireless mics with Bluetooth input though.

This lives up to all the claimed specs
I was quite pleasantly surprised with the performance, features, and ease of use at this price point. We bought it for amplify a solo acoustic instrument, playing with a backing track coming from a Bluetooth device. The Bluetooth pairing and performance works very smoothly and reliably so far (tried an Android and iOS device). The mixing controls and Treble/Bass adjustments are adequate. It is often convenient to reduce the treble to reduce some hiss in the sound sources. It comes with a cheap mic and cable, that might be handy and is probably good enough for something like karaoke. We are using an SM57 dynamic mic. The mic preamp doesn't have quite enough gain to compete with a loud backing track, but it is reasonable. You might need a preamp for optimal results, e.g., to use this for a serious performance. I have no issues with the sound quality at this price point and for a PA that is only monaural anyway. I would also note that it is pretty good at feedback avoidance - better than I expected (or feared). Overall, a great value for the money. I will update with reliability over time.

Very good first impression
I'm a pro wedding and event DJ and needed a little satellite speaker to augment my usual outdoor no-power ceremony system, the incredible Roland BA330 (I do have 2 of them, but sometimes send one out with my second DJ). I tried the Pyle Pro and Ion block rocker systems, expecting them to be terrible, and they exceeded my expectations, kudos to Amazon and Costco for great return policies. I just needed a little more audio reach for the rear of the house for large wedding ceremonies, and I've finally found the right piece. This behringer sounds very good up to a fairly loud threshold, then the sound quality diminishes greatly. It's up to you to find that limit, and hope the levels coming into the Behringer don't pass the point of compression and distortion, because it isn't pleasant. You can't just turn it up to 11 and assume it will limit for you. No big deal, it seems safe to use and loud enough for my purposes with the input and master volumes at about 50% for my very hot acoustic guitar, and I'm assuming it will have plenty of headroom for lower input signals, will report back if I have problems. At any rate, this blows away the Pyle Pro and Ion battery powered pieces of garbage for volume and sound quality. It's on a par with the Roland for pleasant, full sound, but nowhere near as good for volume or flexibility of setup, and why would it be at 1/3 the price. There are a couple silly things to look past. The mic is a gift for my kids. 250 people? Where does Behringer get that number from? Maybe in a quiet lecture hall, but certainly not outdoors or for entertainment. The Bluetooth worked perfectly the first time, I won't be using that professionally but it will be nice for days at the beach. I don't expect the world for $180, and performance- and sound-wise this is a 5 star product for the price. Why can't I give it 5 stars? NO LINE OUTPUT AT ALL!!! WHY NOT?!?!?!? Why in the heck wouldn't they make this easy to link to other speakers? Seems like a pretty dumb choice from both a practical and business standpoint. In sum, if you need a truly great battery powered sound system, you need to spend more money on the Roland. I like it better than the Anchor systems, I've used them all over the years, there is nothing like the Roland. If you need something for very small events, or to augment a larger system, you can do a lot worse than this piece from Behringer, it's a flat out good sounding small powered speaker.

Great portable amp
This is a great amplifier. I've been using it for several months. I use it for bluegrass / folk jams. We're often outdoors and the ability to be cordless is great. It works well as a bass amplifier with the 8" speaker as well as guitar and voice. If we don't have many players, I can use it to play backup accompaniment via blue tooth from my phone.

Superb speakers. Very high sound can be heard. But only 1 device cN be connected to Bluetooth. And it takes some time to disconnect from 1 mobile device and reconnect to another device. We have to switch off the mobile 2-3 times and connect with Bluetooth again. Otherwise perfect it works for Indian voltage..

Is this a joke or some thing? Unit came this morning, no power cable and battery not charging at all. Oh wow...

This speaker is pretty much useless. Sound keeps turning on and off. Battery is 100%, and midsong music will just fade and will come back louder then turn off. Save your money and find another brand!
