One of Jayakanthan's best works. I specifically liked the part where he himself became a character in the novel and created a major plot twist.

I feel like I would have readthrough this novel much earlier. Anyways, I am happy that at least now I spent time for it. Ganga's role is inspiring and the narration is impressive. From the starting to end, it inculcates us how the time period and people around us change our life and how vulnerable we are to such modifications. I really enjoyed and admired of the narration. It is a must-read novel. No surprise that this novel received Sahitya Academy Award. Happy reading...

One of jayakantha's masterpiece.Must read book.

Fast moving plot.Only shortcoming is absence of happy ending.A girl lost her entire life just because of her ignorance.Couldn't stop worrying for Ganga.Writer gave an unexpected end.Overall the story is amazing. Felt like the events happened before my eyes.Hats off to the writer.

I ordered the paperback but i got the hardcover. It wasn't a big of a deal because both the paper back and hardcover are of the same price. Product packaging was pretty good. There were some dents on the cover. I would rate the print quality a 3.6 out of 5. And the paper quality was good.
