Review: These guns make spray foam a breeze! - I've been through several of these guns. The cheapest are nothing but junk. The one you'll find in the store is overpriced by A LOT, and is still prone to all the pitfalls of any of these. I've had one of those guns fail to seal as well, so the "brand name" isn't any guarantee of quality. The features is what I've learned to look for on these guns, and if you get a dud, it usually shows up almost instantly, or at least in the first few uses. This gun was perfect, and worked well for my project. One thing that I've always hated was that the longer guns would get loaded with foam and quickly turned into useless doorstops because the sheer length wouldn't allow you to thoroughly clean them. There are additional tips to get into small areas, but those don't really give you length that's sometimes required, and adding on some tubing meant that I'd have to use 2 hands, often in difficult spaces, and it'd end up moving on me anyway. This gun has those extension tubes, in addition to the tips, and it's JUST enough to be perfect for my tasks. They allowed me to get into areas without having to turn the attached can of foam sideways, sometimes spewing out nothing but the propellant, and just messing up the job. I HAVE learned my lesson with these guns though - just because they look like they thread onto the end, get some duct tape to seal the extension straw onto the barrel of the gun itself. The typical failure ends up blowing the straw off the end of the gun, full of oozing foam, and usually onto an area you needed to keep clean! For a better connection, use some of the aluminum duct sealing tape, and not "duck tape". It'll be harder to get off, but if anyone is using these things and thinking they're not going to make a mess, I have a bridge to sell you. The teflon coating on the barrel is nice, but I've really only ever found it to be of much use on the 2-3" near the tip of the barrel, and I usually clean this down with some acetone on a rag soon after foaming an area, so I've never really found this to be a feature I needed, but you may appreciate it. Different strokes... The pressure adjust knob was easy to use, and the threads were well-formed to attach the can. These two items are the big indicator of quality as compared to the cheapo versions of these types of guns, and I can say that if these two items work smoothly, your projects tend to be far less frustrating to use spray foam on. Given the inclusion of the extension straws and the finer tips with this gun, I find this to be a great value, and this is one of the better guns I've used for spray foam. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one if this one needs replacing in the future. Review: Read ad carefully, gun only, very misleading - The add is very misleading, it truly appears as you are purchasing a spray gun and that it also comes with product aka foam can. Well it does not, it is only the spray gun. Haven't used it yet since I just got it. I am sure it will work fine, but very disappointed in the misleading ad since that was the reason I chose this one. Guess I just didn't read the full description properly and that is on me.... to some degree

You don't get what you see! Gun only!
The add is not what it seems. Gun only is sent even though they show foam, suit, glasses, gloves and cleaner. Vega foam add gives you everything that is in add. Not a bate and switch. Came late and was not as advertised. Gun looks good but they have an add for gun alone for cheaper. Just be honest with advertisements and don't send confusing over filled advertisements and the foam can for 4 pictures if its not part of it.

Far better, easier to use and cost-effective than using the throw-away cans of foam insulation!
The Sprayman Foam Dispensing Gun - (1 Pack) Precision Spray for Insulation & Sealing, Teflon Coated Expanding Foam Gun for Contractors & DIY Projects, Dual Extension Tips Included is far better than using the small spray foam insulation with the small cheap plastic tips. This is much more cost-effective and allows me to reach further into voids and place foam insulation more precisely. I really like the flow control adjustment that the smaller cans don't have. I have no problems getting this spray gun clean afterwards using the attachable spray foam cleaner and cleaning as soon as I finish using it. This is a quality made foam spray gun that is sturdy and durable enough to provide years of repeated use as long as it is kept clean. It functions extremely well, has virtually no waste of material if adjusted for correct flow, is easy to use and much less expensive to use than the throw-away cans. The additional extension tips allow me to get into tight areas and really deep into voids. I'm extremely satisfied with the quality and performance of the Sprayman Foam Insulation gun and consider it an outstanding value!
