SHOE STARTS TO COME APART IN UNDER 6 MONTHS
This is my second pair. My first pair I bought in Nordstrom, I really liked the Leather upper but in less than a year the toe separated from the upper this eventually happened on both pair of shoes. Than the whole bottom came unglued well before the soles showed any signs of wear. I never had this problem even with a cheap $20 pair of shoes. I assumed it was a bad batch and couldn't happen again so I bought another pair a year later and the same thing is happening on the right toe of the new pair which is only 5 Months old. I got upset that the company is obviously aware of the defect so I called them, they were nice, assured me there was a one year warranty but when I sent the shoes in I was told it was from abuse and they sent the old pair back. I sent them back again with a note explaining my position and they still would not repair or replace the shoes. What a sleezy way to conduct business. They need to get in line with all the other shifty companies that cove up their defects and screw the public. Shame Timberland.

Comfy, light, strong and good looking!
Timberland knows how to make comfortable shoes and this slip-on is one of the few shoes I can wear all day without complaining. The footbed insets are firm with a wee bit of give and have just the right amount of arch support. I wore them for 6 months before writing this review and found them exceedingly well made: quality leather upper, durable materials and attractively finished in satin black. The finish is surprisingly scuff resistant. The lack of a steel shank makes them lightweight and wearable through TSA checkpoints (if Pre-TSA rated). The rubber-like sole is grippy and sure-footed on most surfaces. I find them handsome, stylish and great for casual days with jeans or khakis.I bought my first pair at Macy's and was able to try on multiple samples with socks I prefer (athletic socks). I have a slim foot and found these shoes run a little small in length: big toe hits the front with my normal size (8). Size 8.5 gave me perfect wiggle room without being loose in the heel.Price varies widely on these kicks so if you're not in a hurry, shop around. I bought my first pair at Macy's on sale for $49. I've seen them as high as $110. The $70 to $80 range is average.I liked these shoes so much I bought a second pair a few months later but in oil tanned brown. After my wife noticed I hoofed it all over Vegas comfortably--while she suffered--she wanted a pair. So I bought her black ones in size 7 and they fit her perfectly and, while not feminine in appearance, they look nicer than sneakers or cross trainers. Highly recommended!

Upper leather good, but sole comes apart
I've used these to do some light trail walking and for yard work. They are super comfortable, and this shoe is one of the first shoes I've owned where the elastic stretchy band (near the ankle point) doesn't stretch out and become useless. It's still resilient and functional. The only negative issue with this shoe is that the sole has started coming apart after about a year of normal use (once or twice a week). It seems that there are multiple stages in how the sole is glued onto the shoe, and where there is a color change in the sole material, I've found that is where the material broke away from itself and separated. This is not a problem if you have a strong glue and are feeling a bit resourceful in fixing it yourself, but I was expecting a little more quality from a company like Timberland.

Cómodo, sencillo, adaptable a casi cualquier ambiente
Lo recomiendo ampliamente, su precio lo vale.I received the product 3 days ago and my first impression when opening the box is that they were comfortable, not mistake me not to wear them quize take them off because they are soft, fit perfectly to my foot and walking for a long time do not feel discomfort. Are adaptable to almost any environment, they can be used with non-formal or formal wear medium, they are elegant and eye-catching. I highly recommend it, the price is worth it.

Watch the fit.
The fit of the shoe is good until walking around or being on one's feet for 3-4 hours. Then the toe box felt cramped like it was pushing on the toes to curl. I was expecting a more squared off versus tapered front of the shoe. I don't know if ordering a wider shoe would solve this problem or just make for a sloppy fit. The side elastic inserts are long and sturdy and make it easy to put them on. The thick inserts can be removed, but would need to be replaced with another insert as you'll be walking on waffle sub sole otherwise. The shoe comes up low on the ankle in the back which is good for those that need that feature. The suede is dark and seems good quality. The shoe is heavier than what I had expected after reading other posts, but I like the weight and grip of the sole. Overall, the shoe is well built in Timberland tradition. I would highly recommend this shoe noting the fitting issues that are a personal need and choice.

looks nicer in person; fits well; only complaint is that I like more arch support
I used to have a pair of Timberland boots that I loved about 10 years ago, and they lasted me a long time. Due to recent foot issues, I decided I'd try a pair of Timberland shoes just for daily use to see if they help my feet feel less sore at the end of the day. Given I've only worn these shoes 3 days at this point, the jury is still out on that. They are comfortable to wear, though. I do wish they had a tad better arch support. I like the way they look in person more than in the photo here; they are a little less reddish in color and the stitching isn't quite as pronounced. In other words, they look a little more dressy/less casual than I expected, though they still wouldn't look proper with a 3-piece suit.
