Maurice BalmeOxford Latin Course, Part II, Second Edition

The continuing story line of roman history made learning latin more interesting than a textbook of only vocabulary and grammar. I am using the book in a class and definitely need the help of my instructor to understand some of the text. The exercises in the back, while sometimes tedious, are helpful. The most difficult for me are those requiring translating english to latin. I plan to continue with Oxford III next term.

I used Latin, Part I last semester and am pleased to see this edition uses the same format and builds on knowledge gained in Part I.

probably should have had a lower quality rate than listed-- written in, but not like notes and highlighting, more like the sort of obnoxious doodles you should really keep in another notebook. just irritating.

This textbook was a required textbook for our course. I found the material in the back of the textbook on each chapter very useful and easy to understand.

This was written in and drawn in. Some of the words are difficult to read because they have been drawn on with marker or pen. This was a very poor quality book, and I do not think I got my money's worth.
