Consistently delicious
These dates are delicious! before finding this brand, I bought dates from Whole Foods and Trader Joes. Sometimes they were good, sometimes not. Sometimes they were soft, sometimes not. I've been buying these dates for months and they are consistently delicious, soft and chewy every time. They are the only dates I buy now. Definitely give them a shot.

Really disappointing
I've purchased these in the past and was generally pleased. This time, it's close to Christmas and it's as if they repacked old ones with fresh ones. Some were really soft and fresh and some were really hard and old. Only 2 from the whole packaged labeled pitted, were pitted. To get a whole package that was old would have been better than to get them mixed together, not pitted and to feel duped.

Horrid, HORRID dates!! Dry and crunchy, plastic-like unyielding skin, one note sugary sweetness. Nothing at all like medjool dates which are incredibly moist and fudgy with a rich and fragrant molasses flavour. Such a ripoff! I could cry from disappointment to think I spent hard-earned $13 on such a small amount of horrible dates. HUGE REGRET!!! Buyer beware: virtually all the reviews post 2022 are saying these dates are horrible. Earlier reviews say they are very good. I guess there has been a huge drop in quality and standards in the last few years. Seriously, DO NOT BUY THESE DATES!!!

I've been buying this brand for over 10 years, but the quality has changed. Recently, the dates I've purchased were unripe, and a strange, sticky substance covered them. It's not sugar—it's something chemical! They add this substance to make the dates ripe faster .

Box said medjool dates, but what I received looked much more like deglet noor dates. Drier and much less sweet.

I bought 6 packets of these dates to give to my Muslim colleagues, friends and neighbours. I never try them but they are really big and fat and I never see such a big fat dates before.
