If you are pushing the upper limit on hat size in the XL/XXL range, this hat will fit more tightly than the cotton version. Just be aware as this may be uncomfortable, and doesn't seem to stretch out over time.That said, this is a great hat, well-made as always from this brand. They gave me no issues in fixing the issue.
