The Smart Light Switch MSS510HK can be controlled from anywhere (Internet Required) with your Meross app (iOS 13.0 or later). It allows you to turn the connected lights or fans on and off, and to set schedules or auto-off timer routine around your daily needs. Additionally, after pairing with desertcart Alexa or Google Home, you can simply control the connected devices with voice commands. MSS510HK complies with US/CA wall switch regulations and can seamlessly replace your conventional wall switches. Support sunrise and sunset setting. Review: Works great! - I have just installed 1 single poll. I have multiple smart home things ranging from cameras, locks, baby cams, all from expensive known brands and this is the only one that actually works with HomeKit! A Proper smart switch that is compatible with all the devices. MUCH better than most well known brands that claim to work with apple but do not support homekit! and have to use individual app for each device The instructions are good except there was no mention of what to do with ground wire (of course attach it to the metal box). It came with everything to install properly even the little cap to twist wires into. (you put the two wires you want to attach together and put in the little cap and twist it). Had a little trouble linking meross app because I have remote garage control that works with ehome life i think Alexa has them mixed (they are the same/does not matter which app you use).

**Q: Does the little green light stay on all the time?**
A: No. You can set it to three different modes in the Meross app. 
1. On when the switch is off (Night light mode)
2. On when the switch is on (Power indicator mode)
3. Off all the time

**Q: can I use a standard “screw-in” plate/frame with this switch, or must I use the included, snap-on plate/frame only?**
A: please use the plate inside our package. your original plate needed screws to fix the it, but there were no plate screw holes reserved on our product.

**Q: Does meross switch require an ipad or homepod or apple tv for remote control?**
A: Yes. Local control requires nothing additional, but HomeKit remote control requires you to install an iPad or HomePod or Apple TV in your house. Please go to Apple HomeKit website to learn more.

**Q: The description for this product states "15 Amps", but down here in the Q&A the supplier states it is rated for "400 watts " which is true?**
A: It says 15 amps because most house circuits are hooked up to 15 amp breakers, its only rated for 400W output to a light though. However you do no need your  light switch to be capable of sending 15 amps to a light that would trip your breaker 400W is fine

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid product and easy to install

I installed a handful of these a few weeks ago and they've been operating flawlessly ever since. They integrated right into my Homekit ecosystem from the Homekit app and I have them in several automations. Installation was easy since I have the required neutral wire in all my gang boxes. There's no way around it, but it can be challenging to fit these into crowded gang boxes if there are already a lot of other connections inside. Since all my switches are white decorator style, these fit right in and I didn't need to use the included switch plates. I like that the mounting "ears" on these switches are large so they seat up against the wall with lots of surface area (great if your drywall is a little sloppy around the gang box). The mounting ears are plastic but thick enough to be strong but thin enough to not interfere with the switch plate. Another feature I like is the ability to set the indicator LED to be on or off whether the switch is on or off. I have some connected to floodlights outside, and it's convenient to be able to see whether they were left on, but I guess those days are over now that I can create an automation to turn them off at sunrise automatically. I'll be buying more of these.
