Five Star Screen Protection, Useless Instructions
I installed the iAnder tempered glass screen protector on my Nexus 5 today, and I'm pleased with the look and feel of the installation. When installed, the screen is hard, smooth, and seems as sensitive to touch as the bare phone's screen. The instructions must have been translated from Chinese to English and are almost useless. Fortunately for me, I've had experience installing similar plastic screen protector films so knew some of the pitfalls when installing any screen protector, and was able to install the screen satisfactorily on the first try.The iAnder tempered glass screen comes with an alcohol wet wipe, a small microfiber cleaning cloth, an adhesive plastic sheet labeled "Dust Absorber" and a small plastic scraper about the size of a postage stamp. I cleaned the phone's screen with the alcohol wipe and dried and polished the screen carefully with the microfiber cloth. It's important to be sure the phone's screen is COMPLETELY dust free before continuing the installation. Even a tiny speck of dust will create a bubble under the screen protector when installed so take your time and be sure the screen is super clean!Once the screen is clean, peel back one third to one half of the length of the plastic layer that covers the screen protector, and carefully line the glass up with the holes for the earpiece, camera, and light or proximity sensor. Here's where the installation of the tempered glass screen was easier for me that installing a plastic screen protector. The glass screen protector is rigid, and doesn't sag down toward the phone's screen like those plastic screen protector films, so the glass doesn't start sticking to the phone's screen until all the backing film has been removed, and glass protector is dropped flat on the phone's screen. With the earpiece end of the screen protector positioned over the camera and earpiece, I was able to pull the rest of the protective film from the screen's back and make the final adjustments to the position of the screen before dropping it flat on the phone. The adhesive on the protector seems to "flow" on to the surface of the phone's screen. There was one large bubble that was easily worked out with that little plastic scraper and some finger pressure on the protector. That was all there was to it for me.I didn't have to use the "Dust Absorber", but I suspect that if you find your screen protector has a bit of dust trapped under it, you could gently pry the glass protector up, and use the adhesive "Dust Absorber" film to remove the dust particle from the adhesive backing on the tempered glass screen. I had to use that technique when installing a plastic film protector previously, and the results were good, so I expect it should work similarly on the iAnder screen protector if needed. The instructions make no mention of the use of the "Dust Absorber".The iAnder tempered glass screen protector is a five star product that I downgraded only because of the terrible instructions.

just beautiful, smooth screen
First - let me start by saying that this screen protector broke on me. But my screen didn't - so it did its job well.I ended up buying 2 of them, one for my Nexus 5 and one for my girlfriend's. The first one I put on (mine) ended up going on quite flawlessly, no bubbles, no dust under the glass, just beautiful, smooth screen. That's because I took the time and did it RIGHT. I went to the bathroom, turned on the faucet and the shower until it was nice and steamy (gets the dust out of the air), cleaned the screen meticulously (twice), then applied the screen protector.Actually dropping the screen protector onto the screen was probably the easiest part. Since it's a solid piece of glass it was easy to line up, much easier than the film screen protectors.I tried to do the same with my girlfriend's phone, just in my office. The results were a bit different. I got bubbles and lint under the glass on the edges of the phone (none on the active area of the screen, thankfully), but it still looked quite nice, especially when the phone's screen was on.Now...the only real complaint I have about the screen protector is that it wasn't quite as durable as I'd hoped. Yes - it saved my phone's screen, but the drop that cracked it wasn't a big one at all. Just from my lap on a low couch to a hardwood floor. Maybe 2 1/2 feet. But for the price - you can't beat it. I'll definitely be getting another. :D

works fine, just be VERY careful when installing
Works fine. It came in a nice plastic packaging. You do have to be VERY careful when to install it. If you get any dust on the back (slightly sticky) side of the protector, it's going to come out bad. Even if you get the dust off, because the back is sticky, everything sticks to it, so you just touch it and it'll leave marks. So even though I got the dust off, using the tape to take it off left marks/residue (on the back of the protector) so that after it was installed, the screen always looked dirty, not clear. It bothered me, so I took it off and tried to clean it, but it was no use. It's just looked like crap, so I had to tossed. Oh well, lesson learned. Still, I can't fault the product too much for that. If I would've been able to successfully put it on the first time, I think it would have been fine.

It seems well made and the customer service is good. I had some problems with bubbles and they quickly replaced it. The new one went on smooth and almost no bubbles -which for me is darn good since I am terrible at these things. My only issue is they need to get a translator. I think the reason I had trouble the first time was because the instructions simply make no sense. I think Google translates might do a better job. I found a youtube video about installing this type of screen protector and that was instructive. All the materials are in the package, which itself is nicely designed. And the protector went on very easy. No complaints there. Fortunately for me, unlike my last Nexus, I haven't dropped it so I don't have a field review on that aspect. The price is very fair, making this a top value.
