It's very large so you can do a large puzzle. Easy to slide pieces around. I actually took a half completed puzzle and slid it into the table area after I just opened the box and covered the puzzle with some thin bubble wrap to keep the puzzle in place, sealed it up and took it from our summer cottage back to our winter home so we could complete it. Since it doesn't have a cover, you have to be careful about picking it up and bringing it somewhere, so this works really well. I used some painters tape to keep it closed without damaging the box. I plan to store it in the box. I love the drawers on the sides too. They really are a great feature. You can take them out and move them to the other side when you have emptied one of the drawers. I sorted pieces in the drawers by colors so that I could have all the blue sky pieces together, etc. Have no problems with warped drawers or board but it could occur over time if placed somewhere damp since it is made of particle board, not solid wood, which would be really heavy. Just be careful with it. I love mine and bought a second one for my grandson. Enjoy! I had to come back and add: I had to throw mine away because I left it out on our porch at our cottage. It got covered in mold, which I couldn't clean. It was totally my fault, not the manufacturing. It got mold inside the drawers and I couldn't clean it. I was so upset and angry with myself because I really loved it. So, lesson learned. Store it inside at the proper humidity level. We had a very rainy spell and it shouldn't have been left on the porch. My bad.

This is a sturdy and well made puzzle board. I like the larger drawers and I just put a wood block under the top for a slight tilt. Works perfectly. A great purchase for the value.

I have seen similar products selling for $125 or more so I was intrigued by this one. I'm very happy with it! My husband and I frequently do 1,000-piece puzzles that would take up our entire dining table. Inviting friends over required carefully planning our puzzles to be finished before an event or rushing to finish them. If we did puzzles with a tablecloth on the table, the pieces always jumped around. If the tablecloth was OFF the table, I worried about scratches or my husband putting a wet glass on the wood. With this board, we can puzzle whenever we want and move the puzzle in progress off the table when it's needed. No need to remove the tablecloth, either. The drawers of this board slide all the way out so you can move them from one side to another or pass them around. They close smoothly. There is a rim around 2 sides of the main board to keep pieces in place, while the other 2 sides are open (I guess if you want to slide the finished puzzle off to laminate/frame or something). The entire board is solidly built. If you bump it, pieces won't jump around. It's easy to slide pieces when you want, but they don't slip and slide. We purchased the large, 26x34-inch size to handle 1,000-piece puzzles. I was worried that it would be TOO big to move; however, I managed to maneuver it through two doorways and down a hall without having to tip it or bumping anything. (If you are elderly or petite, you might need another pair of hands.) You also need to consider where you have space to put it down flat. For storage, we stand it on end and slide it behind a bookcase in our family room when not in use. You could also slip it under a bed. While storing and moving this board can be a bit awkward, it's well worth it for the ease it brings to doing jigsaw puzzles. The only issue I can see is if you were trying to do a tan-colored puzzle, it would blend in with the wood. Highly recommend!

I really like this but there isn’t an edge on one side of the board, perhaps to slide it on and off things. I dislike it because there is a risk for pieces falling off. We store it under our couch and had pieces fall off before we realized the side didn’t have a ledge.

If you love puzzling and are short on space, THIS IS PERFECT! We love puzzling as a family, but we live in a small house without a space where a BIG puzzle can sit out and be worked on over several days (weeks). THIS BOARD solved all our problems. We can now do up to 1500 piece puzzles on the kitchen table! Time for dinner? Move the board (with the handy piece sorting drawers) and start setting the table! Use it on the coffee table! Company coming over? Just tuck it under the couch (where ours lives), and BOOM...puzzle progress preserved and you're ready for company! Want to take the puzzle on the road to grandma's house or to puzzle with friends? This board is big, but it's light and it's TOTALLY PORTABLE (just keep it flat). The board has a rim along 2 sides that allows you to square the corners of your puzzle as you're "working your sides" and the lip keeps your puzzle safe while you're moving the board. The rim being on only 2 sides also allows you to slide you puzzle off of the board should you want to frame it or store it (completed or partially completed). The company "Bits & Pieces" is legendary for supporting the worlds' puzzling faithful, and this board is one of their finest. I do wish they offered a heavy cover for this board so that you could keep things in place and dust free for long periods or shaky moves, bu that's really the only thing I'd look to add to this board. If you like to puzzle and are tight on space or are unhappy with other short term puzzle storage options, this board is AWESOME...tuck it under the couch, put it on your bed, put it under your bed...it's big, it's sturdy, and it's under 2 inches thick! You won't be sorry with this board! Hours and hours of fun for all ages! You'll be making great memories and your kids will fight over this board when the time comes to divy up Mom & Dad's house. This is an heirloom puzzle accessory!

Everything about this is just perfect! Hubby wanted to get me a puzzle table as a gift, but knew I would be super picky. Glad he asked me, as the one he picked out wouldn't have worked for me. I avoided these tables since I didn't want to rest my forearms on that raised wooden border. This one has 2 open edges so it is comfortable. The surface is smooth, easy to slide the pieces and brush puzzle dust off! The turntable is large, very stable, drawers are easy to use. Very well made and finished product. TIP: when looking at the size you need, the descriptions of all these tables (for all the brands I looked at) seem to be of outside edges, not the working surface. I work 1000pc puzzles with slightly larger pieces (WM brand) and none of the 1,000 pc tables would fit that size, be careful! It's nice to have a little space around the puzzle to lay the pieces too. Very happy with this purchase.

We recently rediscovered the fun of working puzzles and decided to set up a puzzle station so we could have a puzzle going most of the time - for us and for guests - one we could put away when we need the extra space for seating. We don't plan to travel with the board. We shopped & decided this item best met our needs with respect to size, appearance and functionality. Straight out of the box, with no modifications, we loved it. Because our family room isn't brightly lit, we picked up a clamp-based magnifying lamp and clamped it to the frame of the board. Then, we got a swivel TV stand Convenience Concepts 191034 XL 2-Tier TV Swivel Board for Flat Panel TV's up to 32-Inch or 60-Pounds . When it's just us working the puzzle from a couch, we use only the (very convenient) swivel base. But, when we have a group working the puzzle, we put the top shelf on to raise the puzzle (about 9") - making it comfortable for those sitting in chairs. We had a little wooden easel in a closet and it works perfectly to hold the box lid so we can see what we're trying to make. Even with the modifications, in matter of seconds we can dismantle the station and tuck it away under a couch or bed. Finally, while the drawers are perfectly functional, we've found it's better for us to put smaller "trays" in the drawers so we can share color/shape/area sets without having to pull the large drawers out, completely. The "trays" are the lids to some collapsible organizing boxes (CD sized) we had on hand. Oh - this board isn't big enough for some of the oddly shaped puzzles or most puzzles over 1000 pieces, but, it ships with an easy fix. It's packed between two fairly sturdy corrugated sheets. We taped the two sheets together on the long edge - giving us a working area of about 52" x 35". We slide it into the edged-corner of the puzzle board for support and have plenty of space to work almost any puzzle we'd want to work - then we fold it and slip it behind the couch when we don't need the larger space. We are very pleased with this purchase.

I love doing puzzles but it's a headache finding a place to put the table when you aren't working on it. This solves the problem. It's heavy duty & slides right under the bed, out of sight until you want to work on your puzzle again. And drawers on the sides for sorting! I love this feature because I used to sort on a cookie sheet & my cat was always laying on the pieces. It seems expensive but really not for the quality & functionality. There's an upgrade version that allows you to turn the board which is cool too. A must for puzzlers.

I love my Bits & Pieces Board, the only problem I guess is only 2 sides have a wooden border had to put a border on the other 2 sides

After looking at these for months wondering whether to buy one or not, I decided to try it. I bought the larger one and it has plenty of room for the 1000 piece jigsaws I like to do. The drawers are handy and come out when you are working on those pieces stored there. Nice and sturdy if a bit heavy but I don’t mind that as I leave it on the table until the jigsaws is completed. So far I am enjoying using the plateau and would recommend it.

Helped organize my puzzle pieces well and the quality of the board is good. It is easy to store away and a good surface to keep my in progress puzzle.
