Tried getting less expensive pumps, even with higher specs, but had to return them as they just cannot perform the 4 ft lift of 1/2 tube I have. Pricey but gets the job done.

Solid pump. Puts out spec'd volume of water (tested with stopwatch and bucket) consistently. Very heavy so sits well in wet tile saw pan. Replaced the Little Giant that was originally came with saw. Happy I stuck with brand. Purchased cheaper one prior to this one and only put out 27% of spec'd volume.

I put one of these in my fountain over ten years ago and it has worked hundreds and hundreds of hours. The way my fountain is configured, the pump is concealed under five heavy stacked sections of concrete, therefore I don't want to have to replace it often. That is why when I finally had to replace it I found the exact same model to replace the old one with. It works perfectly.

I bought this to replace one I had for 5 years. My only issue with it is that the discharge hose is not a common size. My last one connected to a normal hose. This one required special tubing that was difficult to locate in my rural area. It works fine and hopefully it will for 5 years like the last one did.

I had a Little Giant for many, many years so I expected this one would follow the great reputation. So far I am very pleased with the pump, lots of push. I did take a chance and purchased one that said some damage to box but in good shape. The box certainly was as described but the plastic filter guard that snaps in place over the propeller housing was slightly broken, meaning it had a small piece severed from the guard. I simple pieced it together to see how it would fit and then used Gorilla super glue to make the repair. So far it looks like new and is still holding. You can tell the quality by the weight. These pumps have a good history.

I bought this to replace the exact same fountain pump that had finally failed after 15 plus years of 24/365 outdoor service here in cold, dry Colorado. I was super pleased to find the same model manufactured by the same US company. I originally found it on the Little Giant company web site but it was more expensive than on Amazon! Anyway, its been an awesome pump in the past so I have every expectation it will provide dependable service in the future. Dependable and long running service are particularly important to me because the fountain's size and construction make replacement difficult. The fountain has three clamshells and the pump sits inside the bottom clamshell so I have to tale it entirely apart to get to the pump. As always, I appreciated the rapid delivery direct from stock through Amazon Prime. I received the pump in excellent condition and when connected to the fountain plumbing it worked perfectly (as expected)! I could not be happier with this pump and my purchase. So glad the Little Giant company is still in business and still producing quality pumps!

The product was easy to install, and my fountain was back up and running in minutes.

Purchased for a fountain and it really worked well while it worked, which was for about 18 months. Then it stopped. Took it out and apart, cleaned it all up, and put it back in the fountain and it ran perfectly, for about an hour, then stopped. didn't reduce flow, just stopped. Very disappointed as I have used this brand for outdoor Koi pond and fish tanks with excellent results. This is disappointing and makes me consider another brand. Good luck. Possibly mine was a lemon?!
