MediaRange BD-R Dual Layer 50GB 6x Write Speed, Full Surface Printable, Cake Box of 25

So far I have found these Mediarange bd-r 50 100% reliable with not one failure to write successfully! On close inspection they look identical to the HP with the writable label except they are half the price. I have since purchased Verbatim bdr 25 & 50 and with these i had multiple failures on the final error check. I'll go back to Mediarange.

Gone through many cake tins of these, no coasters or issues. Very good product.

Wasted 3 discs trying to figure out the right settings. My Verbatim discs work without changing anything but these are very picky.Use BurnAware (free). Set write speed to 4x. It defaults to 8x, which gives you a coaster every time, so remember to change it. Set the file system to UDF, not ISO.After my 3 initial bad burns. I've been burning at 4x UDF and had 7 successes in a row. Wasted 3 discs but the world goes on...

All these reviews of burn failure/coasters. The only time I've ever had one of these fail is when I experimented with trying to see how fast a speed I could burn them at (8x is a step too far!). At 6x on a Pioneer BDR209M burner, they have worked perfectly every time.

These dual layer Blu-Ray writable discs have proved completely unreliable. I tried to write to 6 of the 25 discs in the cake box and they all reported catastrophic errors during the verify pass. I tried them on 2 different drives (an LG BH10LS30 and a Pioneer BDR-212DBK), at different speeds and using Nero and AnyBurn. They errored every time, each time on the second layer. I've used MediaRange single layer Blu-Ray discs very successfully but these dual layer discs aren't up to the job.I subsequently tried a different make of disc (Primeon) using exactly the same setup and they burnt perfectly without errors every time so my setup is not the cause. Thankfully, Amazon's returns system allowed me to get to full refund.

These are excellent discs i have never had a coaster i have just bought two more of these packs and i beleive they are Verbatim discs according to the burning software so don't hesitate buy them before they run out.

The media is rated at x6. Despite reports of coasters in previous previews, I've experienced no coasters at all. It may depend on the types of writers used, it's essential to use writers with large buffer to cope with high data flows. Personnally I find that it takes 37min to write a 37GB file with x4 speed. At x6 speed, it takes 25min. I'm happy with the result so far.

For cheapish disks - they work well - you do get the odd coaster but overall i would say 90%

Ho letto un po' di recensioni negative riguardo questi BluRay DL, dopo aver usufruito della campana da 25 pezzi Dual Layer non stampabili (senza averne bruciato nemmeno uno) ho deciso di prendere 2 campane di quelli printable e non posso che ritenermi come sempre soddisfatto. I supporti sono della Verbatim (verificato con IMGBURN l'ID del disco VERBAT-IMf-000) ho scritto 50GB di dati belli pieni backup senza nessun problema di scrittura che di lettura. Come masterizzatore io utilizzo un LG modello GGW-H20L (quello che riproduce ancora gli HD-DVD) ormai dal day one e continua a darmi grandi soddisfazioni. Io adesso non so se alcuni tipi di masterizzatori creano problemi con questo tipo di supporti ma ripeto: mai avuto nessun problema. I film girati con una videocamera FHD li masterizzo sempre alla velocità più bassa (2X dato che i lettori BluRay da tavolo sono abbastanza schizzinosi nella lettura). Provato a stampare una copertina sul disco e sono davvero rimasto contento del risultato finale. Ottimi supporti a buon prezzo! Per me voto 10+
