These straps are very easy to use on vehicles with solid axles, or vehicles where you have a heavy control arm or other piece to loop the strap through. The idea of these straps is that you tie down a part that's associated with the wheels, so the car is free to move on its suspension. If you do that the straps should stay tight and secure. When you use straps like these you want to hook to the tow bed 3-5 feet away from the axle to get a flat angle to hold the vehicle against surging forward or backward. But that long run means the vehicle can move if you tow on roads rough enough to bounce it into the air. The solution for that, if that's a worry, is to weld E-track to the tow bed and use e-track straps over the wheels. Vulcan also sells those. So I recommend these for what they are, but at my company we have both tie down systems and use whichever fits the situation and the vehicle. We don't expect one strap to work for all. I gave these 5 stars for durability, recognizing that as a professional user we will replace this gear every 3 years no matter what, and I suggest any serious hauler do the same

These straps are awesome. 3 years on my last set of being left in the sun and friends letting them rub on sharp objects and being knotted up. Only replaced to peace of mind. Having the closed jaw helps relieve anxiety about straps coming unhooked.

Just bought a new side by side and wanted a good set of ratchet straps to hold it in place. These fit the bill perfect. I have used many straps over 30 years of towing and hauling and these are the best quality one that I have used. My sxs is only an inch or 2 from my cabinets inside my toy hauler and it's exactly where I park it once I get to my camping location which usually involves a bit of very bumpy offroad travel. They are a bit more than I have ever spent on straps but the cost savings of my trailer and toy arriving with no damage is a huge savings overall

I use these straps to tie down SxS’s. It is a very good set up that makes it convenient. There are 2 things I wish would be a little better. The protective sleeve around the strap is really thin and the spring loaded latch on the hook was bent when I received it they seem to be a little weak. With that being said I am very happy with the set in comparison to other tie down systems I have used.
