Darreell Young has the Nikon Camera ultimate instruction book the easiest and best guide for the Z7. I think he is the absolute authority about how to set-up all the menues and make the use of the new camera easy and flawless. His instruction makes me a better photographer. Wayne

The book is excellent

When I get a new Nikon Camera every several years or so, I depend on Darrell Young's thorough books. I find other authors' work reasonable but Darrell's books are extremely helpful from initial setup through to understanding more complex concepts. It is also very easy to find information quickly with his efficiently organization structure. Not only does he explain the settings and how to make them but he adds what settings he uses and why. By doing this you can either adopt his ideas or use the information to make choices according to the type of photography with which you are involved.

Without the detailed advice and painstakingly compiled instructions on how to use and set up the Z7 in this amazing book, I would be completely lost on how to use the camera to its fullest potential! Thanks so much for this, My Young!!! Highly recommended!!

I bought this book because the book supplied with my Z7 is quite small, and I couldn't easily find the information I wanted. The Z7 (and therefore the Z6) is a very complex and versatile piece of kit, and this book takes you through the whole setup process in a very interesting and informative way. The author also makes very useful suggestions regarding what he feels are the optimum settings. This is a fantastic book. If you have a Z6 or Z7, buy the book. It is worth every penny, and if you've just spent the best part of £3k on a camera, the cost of this book is peanuts.

I have had my Z7 for over three years and love it. It is my first mirrorless Nikon so I was curious how it differs from my older Nikon bodies. As a seasoned Nikon user, I was able to use the camera effectively the first time out but realized I had a lot to learn about the finer points of the camera and its systems. The menu system is laid out a little differently so I bought the Kindle edition of the book. It is a friendly helper in quickly understanding the fine points of this great camera written in a gentle, "folksy" way while it incorporates technical data when necessary with simple explanations. If you are someone who shrinks away from the ponderous "complete" guides of other Nikon writers, this book is a refreshing assistant to getting into the Z7 easily and quickly.
