Love this device!
This is perfect to have at your home so you can make sure your gun is shooting perfectly before you hit the field for game day! Works very well. Small, portable and accurate. I wish it took double AA's instead of a 9v but that's really the only con I can think of. If you play a lot of paintball IMO this is a total necessity so you can show up on game day already knowing your gun is ready to go.I'd also recommend buying some reusable paintballs(little rubbery balls) so you can just shot into a pillow inside your own home. The two combined is an amazing resource to have on hand for teching or tuning any gun.

Custom Chronograph X Radar Deluxe Handheld Chronograph
This chrono is quite useful and small enough to carry it in your back pack, although I thought it was smaller. In my case it didn't come with any type of instructions, so it took me a while to figure out how it works. So in case you buy it and don't know how to use it just push the red button when you fire your marker, and keep pushing it every time you fire otherwise it won't register the speed of your paintballs. In case you want to know it uses one 9V battery, the box includes a black velvet kind of bag to carry the chrono around. The chrono itself seems pretty durable and registers the speed of your paintballs every time you shoot. If I have any further issue I'll let you know, but so far I will recommend buying it :)

Works great
Use this for paintball. Works as advertised. Its great to finally have a reliable and very portable chrono that can be used when tinkering with a paintball gun away from a shop or field.

I didn't want to buy this, but the need to know overwhelmed my budgetary restraint.
Purchased this to test my home safety set-up, after seeing it again and again on utube videos. I was surprised to see that it only works while the button is held down (with no retention) versus a press on/press off type of operation, which cause me to loose some valuable data as I inadvertently release the button before checking a key value which took a while to set-up and I'm in no hurry as yet to repeat. This mode of operation is however, good for battery retention, provide there is no trickle current when the display is off. If it is accurate (or shall I say, as accurate as it seems to be given all of the utube uses that it gets), then my launcher tuning has accomplished far more than I ever imagined at this stage. Value for the money is probably really really good, but, its cost represent a very sizable percentage of the cost of what is being measured, so ...Cool factor is off the chart!

Great bit of kit
Easy to use, easy to replace the batteries. This seems to be the one to get if you're looking for a solid, well built radar chrono. I looked at some of the cheaper units with dual digit displays and didn't care to have to watch numbers flash to get a speed. If they're too cheap to go with a 3 digit display, what other corners did they cut? To use, put the black 'bumper' on the marker, press and hold the button, and squeeze the trigger. The speed remains displayed until you let off the button. If you need more than that, read the first reply on this pbnation forum post: [...]

It Works!
Much easier to set up and use than Chrony Beta that I have - not to mention one doesn't have to worry about paint splatter since this is used while on the barrel. Small, lightweight, accurate, inexpensive and MADE FOR PAINTBALL. A good buy and addition to equipment bag, even if you rent a PB marker.

Great chronograph!
I love this chronograph. It's inexpensive, accurate, easy to use and durable. I carry it on the field when I play paintball to make sure I don't exceed the field limits - especially during day-long scenario games. I have one and so does my wife. Definitely recommend!
