Purchased a battery to replace a dead battery from a dell e5520. the battery that was in the laptop was 14.8v 40wH. The ones here are 11v 58wH so initially I was worried that it wouldn't work, but I bought it anyway. It turns out the laptop detected it just fine and it charges and does everything you would expect from a laptop battery, and has extended the life of the laptop now...

The battery seems to be fine and not too expensive, slightly lighter than the original (just under 300g, not the stated weight). The seller states that this is 5200 mAh with 11.1v which is equivalent to 58Wh, however the laptop power utility tells me it is 48Wh. The Dell original was 60Wh, so you can expect this to run down a bit quicker, for example 2 hours instead of 2 and a half, depending on how you are using the laptop.

Laptop battery replacement seems to be working well.

While this is one of the cheaper batteries, after a full charge it's only just lasting over 2 hours.

Bought this to replace the original. It's decent enough but I bought one a while back for a different laptop & that held its charge for longer.
