Ultimate Direction Wasp Pack

I have an old version of the WASP, bought about 10 years ago and it is my go to pack - it is just awesome. Thought I would treat myself to a newer, less dirty pack and was excited to see the "upgrades" touted by UD's video. I am so disappointed, I hardly know where to start - UD has done away with the padding in the back and on the shoulder straps, which means you can now feel everything in the pack against your back and the straps dig into your shoulders as supposed to hugging them. The side straps now come straight across as supposed to slanted, which means they dig into my waist causing really bad chaffing on longer runs. There is no good place for the hose and mouth piece (I haven't been able to figure out where to put it - just trying to weave it thru the straps to hold it down), the two front pockets are so small they hold about half of what I can get into my older pack. There is no accessible place for a phone, the older pack has a pocket on top which is perfect, the newer pack has the same, but it is to shallow. The old pack has straps for poles on both sides, this newer one only has one on the right - my poles need to be evenly proportioned on my back. The whole thing seems cheap and badly thought out. Would not recommend, sadly.....

Considering that I had been wearing a 70L camelback (very effective) I've run 2 marathons and 2 50K ultras while wearing it. I decided that I needed a change. It fits well. I still use the hose and mouth piece from my camelback. Didn't want to take any chances with the chemical taste that have gotten from some hydration system. Overall really comfortable good purchase

Great pack. Bought this for the Spartan Ultra Beast we are training for and I have put in several 6+ hour training sessions. Very comfortable, awesome pockets for holding food and gear and the bladder doesn't leak. Highly recommend

Bought this for my husband. On of the clip broke on his first run, came unstiched. I also got one for myself and the top clip is positioned extremely high and it feels like it is choking when clipped.

This hydro pack is perfect to use if you love doing hiking, trail running and especially Spartan races!

Exactly what I was looking for. Lots of pockets and comfortable. Much better than my Orange Mud.

Great pack! Well made. I'm 5'4'' 150lb male and it fit well with a little adjusting.
