The system is very well packaged and arrived with no damage. I was impressed with the quality of all of the components in this system. I also like the fact that the whole thing can easily fit back into the shipping box for easy storage when not in use.The solar panels are well made and and produced expected power in my tests, which were made on a less than ideal day. The charge controller is easy to connect and to set up. It is a 30A PWM controller, so it's not quite as efficient as an MPPT controller, but it still gets the job done. I like the fact that the cables that attach the solar panels to the charge controller are tinned on the ends that go into the charge controller, which makes for a more secure connection.This kit comes with pretty much everything that is needed other than a battery and an inverter. As of 5/28/2026 the price on this kit is $179.99, which I think is a great deal compared to some other solar panels that I have bought.One other comment: Someone left a 1-star review on this system and stated: "Wasn't even strong enough to turn on the solar controller that came with it". I would ignore that review. The battery that you connect to the charge controller is what turns on the charge controller, NOT the solar panels. In fact, you are supposed to connect the battery to the charge controller BEFORE connecting the solar panels to avoid damaging the charge controller. I have a foldable 110 panel from Zoupw that I really love.This is near a full system. What's left depends how you'll use this. Installation is super easy. For the charger to work you need to connect a battery to it first before the panels as most.These are rated 110w per panel but as every panel I've used, I get up to 90% of the rated power in direct sunlight. This is very versatile as I haven't decided what to do with it. I was going to add to the shed but powering a pump and lights for a pond seems a better idea. I already have a few small systems around the property. Nice to have independent power.The panels are good quality, not top shelf, but good. The solar charger is a PWM. It works, rather larger, and appears well-made. I'm not savvy to all the reasons but MPPT's are mentioned to be more efficient online than PWMs.This would work great on a small shed, providing off-grid power. It'd take care of lights for a small cabin. Dependent on the battery used. This might keep a battery topped off, preserving battery life. It is sufficient for a small off grid site. 4 panels may be better for more applications but this will keep the lights on.It's all a great kit and works pretty good. The price appeared to be in the higher range for comparables online. One must consider this comes with some thick cables all prepped for this. So you have some savings and ease there. A very nice entry level kit.There are connectors to join the panel cables. I've not seen this type but it works better than my other y connectors. The panels use the very common MC4 connectors, standard, proven, and waterproof.I like how it has the main items you will need to add solar panel. The charger works and appears quality materials and sufficient for either these panels in parallel or in series.
