Very impressed
Unit arrived quickly and had to try it out. Works great for a small hobby type stuff. I will be mounting it to a piece of wood so I can clamp it to a stand or bench. When using it Buffed up an old cheap knife it brought the brass on it to a very nice shine.

Compact, works well, relatively quiet.
Perfect for smaller work areas. Lots of accessories that likely add to the purchase cost. Most of which I'm not sure I'll ever use (I just needed the buffing wheels but could not find another buffer that didn't take up a lot space). One nice accessory that I do like are the 180 degree safety glasses. Good call by the mfr on that! Works well, relatively quiet. Comes with screws to secure it to your bench top but that prevents portability (or simply moving it out of the way when a household or similar task requires bench space). Without screwing it down to the bench top I have had it move around during use at slow to moderate speeds - so keep that nugget in mind when considering purchase. On/off switch is separate from speed setting which may be an option you like or or perhaps prefer to turn on and slowly ramp up the speed with the same knob/swtch. With about 3-4 hours use since purchase, I'm pretty happy with it & see nothing important that would cause me to not recommend, however, be aware that the spindals are NOT the same length on both sides. One spindle is for the buffing wheels while the other spindle only accommodates the wider grinding wheels (unless you double up on the polishing/buffing wheels). Maybe that is standard for buffers/polishers but I would think if you call the product a buffer/polisher and not a buffer/grinder you would focus on buffing/polishing... Thus, 4 and not 5 stars.
