A good supply of M6 Nyloc nuts… They work as expected

I ordered these M Meterxity 304 stainless steel nylon locking nuts primarily to add to my stock. These nuts are extremely well made and uniform across the batch I received with very well formed threads and perfect nylon bands designed to grip avoiding self loosening. They thread onto standard M8 bar stock easily with no play or slop, I tried one of them and found the nylon locking feature to griped the bolt very well but not too tightly that the nylon deforms too much. In all I would say that these locking nuts have been through stringent quality control to ensure uniformity and as they are made from stainless steel they have the added benefit of a degree of rust resistance. I would definitely recommend.

Well machined and finished lock nuts. They grip well and stop the nuts from coming loose. Can be re-sed a few times before they lose their efectiveness. Quite low profile so work best with a flat edged spanner rather than a socket.

I always have a ton of projects going on at the farm and pretty much all my vehicles are metric so I stock a lot of metric hardware. And almost everything I stock is stainless. These are 6mm-1.0 pitch 304 stainless hex nuts with a nylon insert to help retain the nut from vibrating loose (aka nylock nuts.). 304 stainless is the highest grade and most corrosion resistant of the stainless steels used in hardware. So I know that whatever I put these on I won't have to worry about corrosion in my lifetime. These seem very nicely made, are nicely polished for appearance, and have very well formed threads. The nylon insert is clean and not inconsistent and ragged. These go into my thread standard nicely, and have threaded easily onto various 6mm bolts and studs. These represent a very good value and in my mind there's no reason to not have these on the shelf.
