​I picked up this 10-foot roll of 6mm silicone hose to replace some tired, dry-rotted factory vacuum lines, and the quality is excellent. The 1/4-inch inside diameter is a snug, perfect fit for standard vacuum ports, creating a reliable seal before you even clamp it down. The walls of the tubing are thick and substantial, which is exactly what you want to prevent any collapsing under heavy vacuum or swelling when the pressure builds up. ​The temperature resistance is the main reason to go with silicone over standard rubber. Build quality on this hose is solid, the walls feel thick and the silicone has the right bit of give to it. Ease of use is easy, slides onto 1/4 fittings without having to heat it or lube it up. I got good value out of this because 10 ft was plenty to redo the small vacuum lines on my project car and I still have some left over. Durabilty looks good, it handled the heat near the turbo area fine in my testing and doesnt show any cracks. I also used a foot of it in my shop air setup just for a quick fix and its holding fine. Would of liked a blue option but black works fine for under the hood.

Redoing a kei truck from Japan with a bazillion tiny vacuum lines. This thick wall tubing has made the task a lot easier. Holds it shape insteady of kicking in curves if not too sharp. I now need to get some colored alternates to help identify specific purposes.
