Great and stylish

These glasses are very thin and don't take up space. I can easily slide them into my pocket, I love the fact they don't hug the nose and they said nicely on the face without discomfort, perfect for reading.

Very low profile and fit easily in pocket or purse

If you’re wanting readers that can fit easily in your purse or pocket, these are great for that.I was pleasantly surprised by their size, as I have a narrow face and was worried that they’d be too big/wide. They are very close to the size of my prescription glasses as seen in the photos. They fit me perfectly. But not sure that they’d fit everyone. I added the measurement so that you can measure your current glasses and compare if they’d be the right size for you. They don’t slide down on my face either. They feel kind of fragile to me, but I think that’s the nature of these. The circular part of the frame seems to be made of plastic. I just make sure to be careful when I bring them anywhere. But, what I love the best is the case. It’s sturdy for what it is and keeps the reading glasses safe.I ordered Brown and was sent Clear. So took photos of both. The Clear ones were also “used”, there were finger prints on the glass part (see green arrow). Also the part that goes over the ear was slightly bent and couldn’t be straightened. I returned those.I reordered the Brown and kept those. You can stick them in one of your pockets, if you don’t want to bring a purse and are only bringing a phone to a restaurant, etc. I like they fit easily in a small cross-body purse.I looked at other brands, but couldn’t find anything that was this low profile and had a case as nice as this one.

Sworn off other readers because they are worth it

Before I found these, I used to try Foster Grant and other similar reading glasses from the drugstore. What I hated about them is how big they were AND how cloudy the lenses appeared to me. Not so with these babies: I have 4 pairs of ThinOptics Connect readers in different colors just so I can be choosy what pair I grab every day. I wear them with my contacts - never had a problem. They are crystal clear to see through, fit fine (and on a smaller face with narrow temples), and to date (knock on wood) pretty durable (no scratches). They're super lightweight and half the time I don't even know I have them on. The only pair of glasses they compare to in comfort are my rimless prescription progressives. They fit easily in my purse, and I have a pair stashed in my long leather wallet just in case. Buy'em - you won't regret it!

Very Good, But . . .

I've been a ThinOptics fan since I attached the clip-on style to the back of my cell phone. That meant I always had readers available for looking at a restaurant's menu or reading small type on my phone. The only negatives were that the glasses were not comfortable for long use and it made the wireless charging on my phone a little wonky. It didn't work at all on some chargers and you had to position it just right on others. That's why I was glad to see the new full sized readers in a magnetic case come out. These lightweight readers are VERY light and comfortable. The case is thin and holds the glasses in perfect position. While it's not easy to open the case (the previous ones just slid out and was held by friction), it is not a deal-breaker. The big issue is the magnet that holds it to the phone. Apparently, wireless charging takes place through a glass back on the phone. Accordingly, the case does not adhere via magnet very well. In fact, it barely holds on to the case.Lastly, the case is very large and covers the camera of my Note 8. I wasn't too concerned about that because I could slide the case off my phone before taking a picture. Of course, if you have to adhere the case with double-sided tape, the camera would be permanently blocked.Other than that, the glasses are great. If you have a phone with a metal back or want to adhere it to something else, it will be great. I'm going to carry it in my pocket next to my wallet. While it's not as convenient as having it permanently attached to my phone, it is more comfortable to use.

I love these glasses!

UPDATE - 8 MONTHS LATER - I still love them! No problems. am very careful with them and use them for hours a day. Still a 5 star from me.I purchased these glasses about a month ago and I love them. They are stylish and feather-lite. I barely feel them on my face. When folded in their ultra thin case they fit perfectly in my breast pocket of my work coat. I can't stand a bunch of clunky stuff in my pockets, so this was perfect. They are compact and fit just about anywhere. The lenses are very clear, and much better than the cheap readers I was purchasing from the Dollar store and Walmart that had a bit of cloudiness to the lenses. These glasses are high-tech in their construction. They are made from very light weight materials. I wouldn't recommend them for someone who is rough on their stuff. They are delicate and require someone to not abuse them. I am easy on things and I use them multiple times per day. I highly recommend them.

Light and compact but not the best readers

I had high hopes for these glasses when they first arrived. They are very thin and lightweight, and so is the case, making them easy to carry. They also fold like normal glasses, so the arms don't need to be unfolded in some complicated way like a lot of compact glasses. That makes them fast and easy to put on. But after wearing them a few times at home to read, I discovered that these glasses cause a lot more eye strain than normal reading glasses. Maybe because the lenses are flat or maybe because they're so thin, I would start getting a headache after wearing them for a minute or two. I thought about keeping them for traveling or evenings out, just to wear briefly when reading menus or signs, but for the price, I would rather buy another style that's slightly less portable but also more comfortable.

Great pocket sized glasses

These glasses are great. They easily fit in your pocket, not bulky at all. They are a bit delicate, you just need to be careful taking them out and putting them away.
