Good replacement item. Works well and the old internals fit not issues. Things to note: 1. The old metal attachment can be swapped over to keep the original logo etc. 2. There’s no rubber seal in the new key so should again be swapped out from the old one - fits well though so no real issues unless it breaks so go careful. 3. Check you’re happy with the ‘Open Boot’ Logo - it might be different from your key.

Great value and an easy fit

I found that although it was sold as a standard fit for circuit the dimensions were quite bad 1 - they clipped Together but only WITHOUT the programmed circuit 2 - they were VISIBLY the same but dimensions were not correct for the board. 3 - with some struggling (including trimming the inside) to take the circuit they were showed and listed to suit, they no longer would clip together. 4 - further trimming meant they would clip together but the buttons were not fully in line As I did this I felt it would not be accepted as faulty for return. I am now looking for one to suit as I cannot trust this source

Great replacement fob I can now see the keys . Bit tight to get apart but managed

I got this for my daughter’s 2017 Jaguar XE as hers has started to fall to bits and unless I replace it she’ll continue to use it until it stops functioning and she can’t get in the car. This is a well made key fob that is exactly the same size as the OEM fob. It was nice to see that the chrome slide off piece is metal rather than plastic. It was even better that the original Jag slide metal piece can be used instead. The fob also takes the emergency door key which is essential for a flat battery (don’t ask). Obviously you have to swap the inner workings across from the old key. To separate the two halves of the fob remove the metal piece and use either a wide knife or a plastic spudger to pry the two halves apart. A well made and very cost effective replacement for your Jag key fob at a fraction of the cost of the OEM part.

I bought a second hand Jag and the key fob was completely worn. I was happy to discover this product and at how easy it was to swap. Just slide the metal part upwards on both the old and new fob, move the circuit board over and click it all back together and voila! Just like new. My old key fob actually fell apart it was so worn. I was sure to remove any remaining pieces of the black plastic standoffs from the circuit board before swapping. Also worth noting that you can use your original branded metal part if you so wish - it's a perfect fit. Can't recommend this enough!
