WeChip KK3 Max Bluetooth Controller

I've bought a lot of Switch joycons, first party and third party, and never really been happy with any of them for long. They're "fine" for the most part, but typically they all have similar problems. Small buttons that feel too clicky. Bad or nonexistent d-pads. Wonky vibration (especially most third party joycons). My least favorite of all is that slight wiggle that joycons tend to so often have and develop over time right where they attach the rails that just becomes impossible to ignore. This controller fixes all of those problems. It's one solid unit. The buttons feel fantastic. Dpad is more mushy than soft with nice pivots. Shoulder buttons feel nice, perhaps a little shallow, but still good. Plus and minus buttons are easy to press unlike the hellish normal joycon ones. The vibration is hefty and substantial, really nice weight to it, and it seems to work as it should for all games which is nice. Some third party joycons I've used just don't vibrate for some games, Tales of Vesperia one that comes to mind. Most importantly of all, it doesn't feel cheap. You might be reading the seller's description above, seeing interesting phrasings such as "charging hole" or "accelerate heat dissipation" and get a little worried in combination with the price. Let me put those fears to rest - this thing is really well built, up there with 8bitdo controllers in terms of third party craftsmanship. The only minor issue I could see some people having is with the joysticks if you don't have any Gamecube nostalgia, but they work perfectly and still feel better to the thumb than typical joycon joysticks, at least to me. Regular Switch thumcaps also won't fit, for obvious reasons, but that's not the point here. I personally think it feels in line for the Switch to have Gamecube style C-stick as so few games even require the right joystick that much - that's my personal bias, however. Grab it while it's still for sale. Feels like it breathed new life into my Switch and makes it enjoyable to use in handheld mode again.

Controller is built solid just like my KK2. Battery life is slightly better than my KK2 but it still can't go a full day worth of playing. With the WiFi dongle, the KK3 Max will sometimes not reconnect itself to my Win11 PC when the KK3 auto shuts off and needs to be resync'd or turned off and back on again. The buttons on the backside (for the paddles) do not function as extra buttons but as buttons for other buttons on the front (or triggers) to be reassigned too making the reassigned button non-functional. All the lights are annoying at first and I would prefer no lights to save on battery life. Overall I like this controller and I regularly recommend them to people.

This is a solid 4 star controller, i got this amd an 8-bit do retro-super nintendo controller and while this is more comfy to use, the 8 bit feels faster, more responsive. Nonetheless, thisbis well built with lovely ergonomics and feel. Button quality feels great to me and the hall joy sticks are buttery smooth!

If you want to use it on Xbox or PC Mode in Steam Deck forget about giro. The switch mode works beautifully. It works wonderfully on switch itself but it shuts off like in 10 minutes of inactivity and freezes the game.

I was having trouble playing my games... my control was drifting and some of the buttons was getting stuck.. so I decided to spend some money to help me with my game playing... oh this control is very different and very nice... i like it alot ..and did it help with my game playing?... not really.. it turns out I just really suck at video games.. I started to think when pro gamers play and then complain about it ... the developers would make it harder and harder .. and it because to hard for noob Like me. Ofc I won't give up until it get it.. but it takes forever.. anyways.. the control it very good.. good battery life.. and feels real smooth..

Love the smoothness and very small dead zone. Rught stick works like a dreab, but left-right axis of the left stick only works from midpoint to left so any input moving the stick to right just shows 0 value.

It’s built really solid and feels great to use, if it would work properly. I saw a few bad reviews and decided to give it a go anyways. I mean for $20 why not right? About a week into using it I noticed the left joystick would just stop working until I wiggled the right joystick around, then it would start working again. It would do that pretty often, no set times and nothing triggered it. It was just random. Now today as I’m writing this I’m fed up. The left joystick almost has like a hitch in it. My character in game (Pokemon Legends ZA) should jog forward if I push the stick fully up. He only walks now. Any other direction he’ll jog, but even trying to push B to run it doesn’t work. I even tried running pushing the stick in any other direction first and then up, still nothing. Just goes straight to walking again. I ordered the 8bitdo controller like I should’ve to begin with, but I wanted to give this one a shot. I mean for $20-$25 (I don’t remember the exact price) it’s a solid controller. Beats the official Nintendo pro controller by a mile which broke even quicker, but sadly I’m not sure if I’d recommend getting this for serious/long term use. I gave it 2 stars though because of how well made it feels and the comfortability it has in hand. Edit: Down stopped working while making the video…

I really wanted to like this control because it looks so good but its as uncomfortable as using the joycons. Yes it has more grip but not enough and your thumb placement for your right hand is awkward cz the stick is small and low. The switch and also slide easily off if you accidentally push it from the bottom. The button on this are amazing tho they feel nice and are clicky. The left joystick feels good. The right one sucks so much because of its size

Es comodo, aunque ligero, pesa realmente poco, digamos que es muy muy similar a los controles de xbox one y SS/SX, aunque ambos sticks son bastante mas suaves que el de las consolas de microsoft, pero tiene paletas traseras como las versiones "elite", aunque es un control plastico no metalico como estos, pero sin duda por el costo, es una buena opcion. Ahora solo esperemos que la durabilidad sea buena, de momento me tiene bastante contento para usar en Switch o en PC. no he probado ni en android ni en iOS ni play.

Es un control bastante comoda y se siente bien en las manos, es tan comodo que prefieres jugar de manera portaril que tenerlo en la tv, deberian haver una version inalambrica

Se siente bien, pero se tuvo que regresar por algunos botones fallaban. :(

The stick are great after the calibration. The touch sensor did not work for both sticks and it did not work. I soldered the cable 3 times and made the joystick cable short because of splicing so I guess it wasnt me.
