It also offers you the ability on the setting up if you want the camera to pick up cars, animals or people, you can have all three but there is an option to deactivate say animals if there are a lot of cats that roam around in the night as it’s continually telling you there is a animal on your drive which is quite frustrating if it’s in the middle of the night. Best blink outdoor camera I’ve had to date.
I have lots of blink cameras of different generations and this was the easiest I’ve added to a sync module. Qr code scans in easily once you have popped the batteries in. I chose to add it to an older sync module that does not have the flash drive storage as my blink plan shows it and keeps it for 30 days ( I was an early adopter and so still get the plan). Clarity seems better than previous cameras and the mount is also better. I can now keep an eye on my ev charger. Also in terms of the older cameras, they are all still going fine many years in and batteries last more than a year though I have 3 sync modules so WiFi and sync signals are always strong to each camera.

The label inside the box states: "Getting started with Blink is easy". It /so/ isn't.
Both instructions and software for installation are flaky. It was very difficult adding the Sync module. The app then reported that the module /wasn't/ added, though the lights on the module insisted it was. And video from the camera proved that, indeed, the device had been added. Ten minutes later, though, without either device being moved, the connection between the two Blink devices dropped. Early days, so far, but at the moment, things don't look promising.

Great camera quality, works fab in low lit area's too. I would upgrade the batteries tho to a higher grade for longevity. Good home security camera overall
