The Copper wire itself is fine. It is easy to bend and it has a nice, bright, and shiny finish. It should work well for me as I am learning to do wire wrapping to make jewelry. Copper wire is a great choice for practicing as it is far less expensive than Sterling Silver wire. If you make a mistake or simply need to practice more to get good at it, you are not wasting money on more expensive wire. Once you get proficient, then it makes sense to work with Sterling Silver.As I said, the wire itself is fine, but I was disappointed in that the listing as well as the back of the card shows that the packaging acts as a dispenser for the wire. Maybe it is supposed to, but the end of the wire was inside of the plastic blister cover and not easily accessed. When I attempted to feed the end of the wire out as depicted in the graphic on the back of the card, the thin plastic blister broke off from the backing at the hub joint, and the wire nearly fell out. I can certainly still use the wire, but right now it won't unroll easily as some of the wire managed to loop over itself when the packaging broke and the wire become tangled. Fortunately, I caught the wire before it fell out too far and became a bigger, tangled mess. I recommend taking your time to feed the wire out of the package if you are wanting to use the package as a dispenser.

This is a good quality, strong copper wire. It is a good even color throughout, and does not mark easily when held with pliers. I use it to make jewelry, and it serves that purpose very well. It is strong and not too soft, so I can use it to wrap stones without fear of the patterns not holding. Very good value for money too.

I needed it for an experiment for kids, involving magnets and a battery. Conductivity did not work. Maybe it wasn't solid copper.

I'm always looking for bare copper wire for my stained glass projects. This copper wire was priced fairly and the same for what I can buy at big box hardware stores. The built in cutter was innovative and something I haven't personally seen on any other brands I've used in the past.The 18 gauge I use was perfect for making hangers for a gem I hung within a stained glass ornament I made, but also for decorative wirework and supports as well. It took the solder beautifully, so it absolutely was bare copper. I don't think I'll use the built in cutter often, but I love having that option. Overall this is exactly what I needed and priced fairly at around $6.50 for the roll when I reviewed this.
