They're doing the job.
Probably not as good as Engineer equivalents, but they're cheaper and are working quite well for me so far with JST XH connectors. Simple to use, no harder than automatic crimpers, and I'm getting perfect crimps every time.

Good tool, works well once you get the hang of it.
The IWISS is not ratchet based crimping tool but works great once you get the hang of it. You have to crimp the connector twice, once for the wire and once for the insulation and although this might seems a bit of a faff, its actually pretty easy and quick once you get the hang of it. This tool seems to be a clone of a more expensive brand called 'Engineer' from Japan but despite being much cheaper, it works great and also seems very sturdy. This costs a fraction of what a 'branded' ratchet based JST crimping tool would and for a hobbyist its more than sufficient to get the job done.

Good crimper
Good crimper for JST style insects.

Great crimping tool, even for beginners
Absolute gem! I technically down-graded from a tool that crimps both front and back wings at the same time, but I was struggling with consistency with PB1.25 crimps. Switching to this gives me so much more control I barely have to re-do crimps these days.

Does the job, no prob.
I'm using them to facilitate some rather complex guitar wiring. Having never crimped these tiny micro connectors before, I watched a clip of "how to" on Youtube - of which there are several. I found the job to be very fiddly but, with the aid of my big magnifying lamp and a bit of practice, I'm cracking on with them now.

Works well for JST-XH 2.54mm connectors
Bought this to crimp on some JST-XH connectors. It’s one of the cheaper ones I could find and has done a great job. The jaws are sturdy and line up well with tight tolerance. So far has crimped them all perfectly.

Dissapointing performance
I purchased this crimper solely for its capacity to crimp the smallest (SSH) terminals. Unfortunately the smallest jaw is not fully formed, rather than having clean curves to 'curl' the terminal wings arround the wire/insulation it has a malformed jaw which crushes rather than curling the wings rendering the finished crimp terminal unusable. I took a lot of tries before I resorted to putting it under a microscope to find the problem. I include 2 photos the first is of the jaws on the IWS and for comparison how they should look in the second (an engineer crimper for comparison) Overall just will not do the smallest size crimps, dissapointing.

Do the job in 2 steps
Good product. High quality. The crimping need to be done in two steps. No ratchet is disadvantage.

Pinza crimpatrice
