So… my teacher friends are starting to ask questions. They’ve been asking about my calm demeanor this year, and I finally came clean to share that I’ve been coloring, sneaking in a little self-care doodling and drawing during recess and lunch. This sweet book is self–love–themed and a much better coping technique than crying in my car, something too many teachers do. The designs are simple enough that my brain can happily drift away from grading piles and the occasional [*cough, cough] bout of “challenging” student behavior. I appreciate the gentle reminders about different ways we can care for our minds, bodies, and spirits. The designs give me ideas for when I get home. It’s an idea book, almost as much as it is a coloring book, a golden carrot “incentive” for getting to the end of another day. There are cozy pictures of plants, candles, and books, but my absolute favorite is the bubble-bath scene with smiling clouds floating overhead and a pot and cup of tea perched on the edge of the tub. I’m not sure where this magical “happy place” exists, but I’m not about to question it. Coloring these easy, uplifting pages helps melt stress and boost my mood, one soft pencil stroke at a time. I'm making my own happy place, and that’s all that matters.

The book looks really adorable and it’s easily customizable. Helps you ease your mind and relax while you color your problems away.

This is a cute book. Lots of different simple, homey, relaxation themed pictures to color that are printed on one side of the page so you can even color with markers. This book is geared more toward preteens I'd say but nice for adults as well.

This coloring book has a lot of pages to color. I like the stars and cute vibe of the pages. Some of the pages were kind of odd though and I didn't know what they were. Is that a stack of pancakes with a bow? Others were very cute though. I like the pitcher with drinks. This is a great coloring book for a child, 4 years or so. The images are simple and cute and fun to color.

Cute, simple pictures to color. This was great when I just needed a mental break. The pictures were simple to color and did not take a lot of time or thinking like some other coloring books. Highly recommend for a relaxing break.
