Perfect for Cleaning Large Windows
I have been extremely impressed with this window cleaning robot. I have many large windows in my home, including some that are difficult to reach, and cleaning them manually has always been a time consuming and frustrating task. This machine has made the process much easier by handling the majority of the work on its own. The setup is simple, and the navigation system does a great job detecting window frames and covering the entire surface. The strong suction gives me confidence that it stays securely attached, and the spray system helps loosen dirt, fingerprints, and dust before the cleaning pad wipes everything away. The results have been excellent, leaving my windows looking much cleaner with far less effort. One of my favorite features is the self cleaning dock. Instead of constantly washing dirty pads by hand, the machine helps clean them, which makes maintaining the device much more convenient. The app is also easy to use, and the different cleaning modes allow me to adjust the cleaning based on how dirty the windows are. I have purchased several other Ecovacs products in the past, including their robotic lawn mowers and home robot vacuum cleaners, and I have always found the company’s products to be reliable. Their customer service and warranty support have also been great, which gives me confidence when investing in their technology. One area that could be improved is the amount of cleaning solution and accessories included. For people with many large windows, having extra solution and additional cleaning pads included would make the experience even better. Some extremely dirty windows may also need a second pass or minor touch ups afterward. For anyone with large windows, tall glass panels, or hard to reach areas, this is a huge time saver. It turns a difficult household chore into something much easier and more manageable. Plus, I don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars to get my windows cleaned by someone.

It's perfect tool for house with big windows. I’m really happy with it.
This is a very well made and good quality robot vacuum. I really like the look and the style. It was not easy learning how to operate this window cleaner but once you read the instructions it was understandable. It is big but not heavy. It has a special compartment to place the pad in and cleans it and washes it after use. Also gets it moist and ready before use. The water compartments are big and last a good few times of using them. It comes with a few tubes of cleaning solution that are easily added to the robot and it sprays so evenly throughout the window as it cleans. It does a great job on its own. It’s been a fantastic purchase and I’m really happy with it.

Helpful for second-floor windows
i live on the second floor, so cleaning the outside of my windows has always been a pain. Ive tried a couple of other window cleaning machines here, but they either didnt clean well or made me nerous about them falling. I tried this one over the weekend and really liked it. The suction feels very strongm and it tells you when its securely attached, which makes feel a lot better using it outside. I also like being able to control it through the app and move it to an easy to reach spot when it's done outside. The different cleaning modes for indoor and outdoor windows are useful too. It feels much easier and safer to use than the ones i have tried before.

1st & 2nd & 3rd Review
1st Review: Winbot Omni 3 Giving 3 stars on my first review. I REALLY want this to window cleaner to work because I have a lot of glass and it will easily pay for itself in 2 seasons. So I read and read the directions. I a little disappointed that I couldn’t find a YouTube from Ecovac that detailed each step and function of the new Omni 3. It’s first job was 4 standard Anderson sliders. Everything went well and according to the directions until it was time to remove the Winbot after it completed its cleaning. It left/leaves an impression of the cleaning pad and it did it 4 times. I called customer support but unfortunately I couldn’t not clearly understand my support tech, so I told him I would let the pad dry out after cleaning it and try again in the morning. He seemed to suggest I had dirty windows and I should wring out the pad out, but I am not sure how to do that. Again, no Ecovac video. In my opinion , if I can resolve this issue I will change my review to 5 stars. Here is a picture. 2nd Review I tried everything Customer Service told me EXCLUDING “clean the windows before you clean the windows”. I am returning this one and I am purchasing another with the belief that mine is defective. My fingers are crossed. Review 3 So I decided to return the Omni three as defective and purchase a second one because of all the good reviews. We brought the Omni three to the lake house which has significant windows facing west. We also have 3M tinted film on the windows on the inside. I also found out that there is a heavy duty mode which basically requires the device to do the window two times. This was necessary because a bird had tried to get in and made a mess of three large windows. Our experience was excellent and the device performed exactly like it was supposed to, and we did not see any streaks or pad indentation marks. I upped the star value to five and I now know this unit will pay for itself in one year and then give us years of clean glass, avoiding the $600 plus costs that we incurred every time we have the windows cleaned. One more important note is that the Omni three did not damage the 3M tinted film on the insides of the windows, which was very important to us!

Ecovacs W2 Onmi - Works incredibly well
I have not been even moderately impressed with most cleaning robots, but I have a lot of exterior windows that can only be reached with a lift which is both inconvenient and costly, so I was willing to give the ECOVACS Winbot W2 OMNI a try. It recommends only using regular water which had me concerned that it wasn't going to do a great job on a few windows that haven't been cleaned on the outside in 10 years, but it did a fantastic job! The vacuum that's holding it onto the window is also pushing the cleaning pad very hard against the window so it's like cleaning your window with a towel with a lot of force. Just to clearly set expectations, there is no question a skilled window cleaner could do a better and faster job by hand but for those locations that are difficult to reach it does an excellent job. Here's what I love: - The all-in-one unit is awesome; everything is self-contained and can be carry from window to window easily - it's super easy to get started, just turn it on, hold it to the window and once the suction starts it just does its thing and returns to the location you pressed it to once it's done - battery life is very good, you easily get an hour of run time - does a great job of cleaning, there is literally no streaking whatsoever Notable cons: - It can't be plugged in while operating. I thought I saw comments saying it could be charging while in-use but it doesn't allow that - edging isn't great, it gets very close but maybe about 1/4" from the edge is left - the trim on the outside of my windows is a bit low and a few times it got caught and it panicked but it still had plenty of suction so the risk of actually falling was low - can clean mild dirt and rain spots no problem but difficult grim can take a few passes - you can't really hear the voice comments because the vacuum suction while not terribly loud is louder than the speaker volume

Makes Window Cleaning less of a Chore
This one is pricey but if you like a little bigger unit and faster cleaning for places with large or numerous windows then it's appropriate. I cleaned 3 of my windows (just inside) and they were not opaque or cloudy but that picture is of what the robot cleaned in just 3 inside windows. I am no longer hesitant to open my blinds when I have company come over. I can show off my view of the lake without worry of guest seeing a dirty window. The battery life is a little short for a unit this big. Obviously if you buy this unit it's because you have many windows and lots of area to clean. So it should be able to use battery and/or plug in power. It has enough power to clean one side of my east facing windows, but just be aware that it takes about 2 hours to charge from a full dead bot. So the first couple of times you clean your windows you will be charging often. But once your windows are clean you should be just fine with the battery life for routine maintenance cleaning. You don't use cleaning fluid with this robot and my windows came clean without it. You just use tap water. I think every time you switch to a new window to clean, you should rinse off the pad. It is very easy to do and put back on and it comes clean. Always start a window cleaning with a wrung out damp pad. The spraying system loses it's prime and will clean your windows about 3 swipes before water starts coming out. So if you start with a damp pad it doesn't matter anyway. I would like a manual spray button on the remote to get it primed or to spray an area that needs a little attention when you manually drive the robot with the app. This little robot has made my home windows a showcase and my cleaning life so much easier. This one will not be going back!!! Welcome to the family little robot.

A Great Concept - Some Limitations
It uses a cleaning pad and tap water to clean windows. So, it takes care of grime on windows, but not any film build up. There still are some streaks on the windows. Instructions state not to use a cleaning solution, likely because the cleaning head might slip off the window. The streaks came off easily with some Windex. Overall, it was much less work than using Windex alone or cleaning solution and a squeegee. Pros: Very well thought out design Easy to set up/nothing required Sticks to the window, even climbed up my eight foot sliders Cleaning pattern covers the entire window Cons: Still some streaks after cleaning, easily removed with Windex You have to be there when the unit finishes the window. When done, it continues to run so the cleaning head does not fall off the window. If unattended, at some point the battery will run out... Other: Order extra cleaning pads. It comes with two, but they need to be changed and washed once the pad is dirty. A clean pad worked on one or two sliders. You can then flip it over and use the other clean side. Does not work on small panes (windows that are segmented or with muntins). Three stars means I recommend the product, but it has some limitations.

Effortless Window Cleaning: Why the Winbot W2 Omni is a Must-Have
I recently purchased the ECOVACS Winbot W2 Omni, and I can honestly say it has completely transformed my window cleaning routine. As someone who usually dreads the task of washing windows, this little robot has been a game-changer for me, making the process not just easier but actually enjoyable. First and foremost, the cleaning efficiency is impressive. The Winbot W2 Omni navigates both flat and curved glass surfaces with remarkable ease, leaving my windows streak-free and sparkling. I live in a high-rise apartment, and I often struggle with keeping the large windows clean. This robot handles even the trickiest spots without any hassle, and my view of the city has never looked clearer! Setting up the Winbot was a breeze. The initial setup took just a few minutes—filling the water tank, attaching the microfiber pads, and plugging it in was all it took. Once it was ready, operating it was intuitive thanks to the included remote control. I appreciate how user-friendly it is; I can simply start it and let it do its thing. One of my favorite features is its safety measures. The strong suction power and safety tether give me peace of mind when using it on higher windows, ensuring I don’t have to worry about it accidentally falling. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised by how quietly it operates. I can run it while I’m home without feeling disrupted, which is perfect for my busy household. Maintenance is straightforward as well. The microfiber pads are easy to wash, and all I need is tap water for cleaning. ECOVACS even includes two pads in the box, which is a thoughtful touch. While the Winbot W2 Omni is definitely an investment, the time and effort it saves are well worth it. If you’re someone who has a lot of windows and values convenience and efficiency, I highly recommend this robot. It’s made my life significantly easier, and I can now enjoy my clean windows without the hassle of hiring professional cleaners. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!
