Taste fresh
This is a full two pounds of raw flax seeds. It comes in a big ziplock resealable baggie. Yup opened it put my flax seeds in a large mason jar. These are fresh and have a nice nutty taste I grind them and put them on homemade quark cheese. They add a nice nutty flavor to the creamy cheese. Not to mention the added health benefits. These are clean seeds I have found no waste or not flax seeds in the two pounds. The seeds are whole and shiny no broken or meal left in the bag. PROS Two Pounds Clean Seeds Taste fresh CONS NONE I did not find a discount for these flax seeds, and paid full price.

just as I like it! I purchased these because they are good ...
Delicious and organic, just as I like it! I purchased these because they are good for lowering triglycerides in order to balance my cholesterol levels and prevent future health problems, including very serious ones that can lead to early death. I was rather excited when I found such a good deal, considering how much a person can pay for just a bottle of 2-4 oz of raw flax seeds, or even non-organic seeds!

Good product, reasonable price,
Have been using this vendor/product for around 4 years, consistent experience over many orders.

You won't find a better deal on raw flax seed
You won't find a better deal on raw flax seed. This is nearly the same price you would pay for 25lbs. which I've bought before AND I didn't get Non-Gmo until now. Canada seems to have the edge on the US in producing products like this, including raw shelled hemp seed. Needless to say I'm a happy camper and enjoy my bowl of granola (Nature's Path Hemp Plus) everyday with a scoop of the raw flax seed. I am using a coffee grinder to grind up, which works great. I grind up enough to last about a week. You absolutely want to do this as non-grounded flax seed will largely go right through you, with the exception of that which you manage to mash in your chewing.

Flax and Good Value
I have been buying this same brand of flax seeds for years and use them daily in my smoothie. I have never had a problem with them and the value seems good

Tastes great
I have been suffering from the bad taste of pre-ground flax sold at the store for years until I got these. They still taste like flax to me, but better than I am used to from pre-ground. Most people that are eating this probably are aware that the nutritional value of ground flax is reduced the longer it sits. I ground these with a coffee/spice grinder that I also got on amazon and ate them soon after. They are very easy and fast to grind. I put three spoonfuls of the ground flax in a bowl, added three spoonfuls of hemp seeds, a little stevia, some almond milk and some frozen raspberries, and then I ate it. The taste was pretty good. With the old flax I had, this mixture would have had a powerful flaxxy taste. Why do you eat Flax? Did you hear or read it was good for you? Do you have health concerns and need the benefits? I eat it because I have to eat grain free to reduce inflammation, and I just wanted something else to eat. But I read that it is an excellent source of Omega 3 ALA and who doesn't want that? I usually eat a salad for breakfast, but my greens were bad today. I will probably try this on my salad.

I'm addicted to this stuff!
Each bag I've purchased smells and tastes so fresh. The plastic bag packaging is very durable and easily resealable. I grind the seeds right before I use them, and they are a staple add-in to my breakfast every day, which is oatmeal (working on bringing the cholesterol down...ugh). I also use the ground seeds in smoothies as well as savory side dishes, like sauteed greens mixed with whole grain buckwheat. This is a great product at a great price from a great company! Thanks, Gerbs.

By mistake
By mistake, I ordered non-organic flax seeds. I should’ve known better, but they were so cheap I took a chance. Once they got here, I realized that I just couldn’t eat seeds that grew up being sprayed with Roundup! I just put these in my pantry to save for the Armageddon/apocalypse times. I bought some new ones to replace them that are organic… But that’s another review :-) so unfortunately if you don’t care about organics I can’t really help you on these since I didn’t even open the bag.
