I was looking for a battery operated sprayer from a US company and landed on the PeteaTools HD4000 Pro series, a 4 gallon backpack model. Last weekend I used it for the first time to spray crabgrass preventer and the product worked like a champ. I like the variable speed dial, which allowed me to get the right amount of spray volume for the pace I was walking. Also contains multiple spray heads for different use cases. It appears well-made and a quality product. I also had some questions on my order, and Christina jumped on the chat very quickly and answered all my questions. Very helpful. She even reached out via email after I let my chat session expire. Great customer service !!

Great product. Works as advertised.

I have used this cart sprayer 6 times already on about 2 acres of turf grass. The additional longer hose makes this effort a breeze. The sprayer is easy to use and more importantly to clean. Contacted Customwr Support on general questions regarding spray tips and Anne was fantastic. Answered my questions and even registered the product for me ensuring the 3 yr warrantee was in force.

Contacted Petra tools today about a spray tip and immediately got Anne via text chat and she was awesome at helping me with my problem , customer support is top notch and I absolutely love the HD4000 highly recommended this to anyone looking for a great sprayer !! Works great. No regrets with this purchase. I reached out to customer service. I did not get 10 different prompts & put on hold. It was one prompt and a human on the other end with no wait. Amazing customer service form Christina. I would highly recommend. Great customer service goes a long way, and they get 5 stars.

Really feel deceived looking at the packaging. Looks like it’s an American company and one would believe it is an American made product however this is the very same product just with her own label on it as the Vevor backpack that’s available on Amazon or Temu for $110 if one were to place a Petratools sticker on that one it would look almost identical was only very minor differences like a different color hose the battery meter that shows how much battery life there is just subtle differences like that other than that these are the same backpacks. When filled this same ways, 50 pounds well not a problem for some once, it is on actually putting it on can be problematic. The pressure is strong in fact, too strong as it can’t be adjusted down below 40 pounds or so making precise low pressure sprays is impossible. call customer service two times with questions was told I would receive a call to address my concerns. It has been over a week and still no call. I packed it back up. It’s going back since I’m not going to wait until I get a call after the return deadline.

We had some questions regarding the device and Ruth in customer service went above and beyond to help. Highly recommend the product. Now that we have used the product it will be a part of our everyday equipment.

To my surprise this sprayer works better than I expected. Anne was particularly helpful answering questions about the product.
