Klipsch RP-5000F Reference Premiere Floorstanding Speaker - Each (Ebony)

Well they're Klipsch RP. So yes, they're fantastic speakers. I'm using these as part of my 7.1 living room setup, and they work famously. Sound quality has it in spades. Highs and lows are clear as can be. While these are 5.25" woofers, make no mistake - they can put out some low notes. If you want to go much lower than these, look into another sub. I turned my sub down a LOT after installing these speakers. They do play well with my other Klipsch speakers, which was a big relief. Might take some fine tuning on your receiver to dial everything in, but you will eventually find that sweet spot where audio harmony seems to magically appear like a gift from the sound gods. Wiring is easy. I removed the bridges on the terminals and bi-wired. Say what you want, but it makes em sound better. The center caps do pop out to allow use of banana plugs, so don't worry about that. These have a surprisingly small presence in the room for the sound they make. These are definitely not the 5' monster towers from the 80's. I chose the ebony instead of piano black just for ease of cleaning, but they are still gorgeous to look at nonetheless. For those of us with animals and kids (pretty sure they still qualify even if they only have 2 legs), you'll appreciate how much less noticeable the dust is. Just don't get too comfortable or your speakers will end up as furry as the quadripeds. Only takes one sunny day with the shades open to see what I mean. Ah, single dad life!

I finally bit the bullet and added these to my 5.1 system to make it a 7.1 system and what a huge difference they make. They add depth and clarity. Originally, I bought this house and it has 4 ceiling speakers towards the back; surround left and right, and back left and right (I have a center channel speaker R52C where it's supposed to go). I was using the surround as the front left and right until I got these and could set it up correctly. The difference is amazing. Money well spent. All of my speakers with exception to the ceiling speakers are Klipsch including my sub R120SW (which by the way, is an amazing sub as well). The packaging was superior. The speaker boxes themselves came in an over sized box with extra packing material around it. I always worry about shipping damage but these could have been dropped off a truck and been fine. By they way, don't write negative reviews on products that come in damaged by the shipper. That's NOT the sellers fault.

These sound phenomenal. I have them paired with a 10” Subwoofer for a 2.1 soundstage in a medium sized room. They are stunning and clear for all types of music genres from 90s Gangster Rap to Jazz Piano and everything in between. I’m discovering my music collection all over again, and even appreciating genres I never did before. I also use my setup for movies, and it creates an immersive movie experience that you actually feel. Their smaller size fits nicely into the living area without dominating the room as some 2x8 systems can. They are so loud and powerful, I’ve never turned them all the way up in fear that my house may rattle apart. When shopping, I was between these and SVS. Ultimately, I decided to go with Klipsch because they have a long history of proven technologies and industry experience. I was replacing Klipsch bookshelf speakers which I had for over 15 years, which certainly biased my purchase decision because I had such a great experience with those too, and I still have them.

So I built my first Dolby Atmos home theater system a few years ago. I got some inexpensive speakers from Cambridge audio and they sounded great with my 7.2 Yamaha Aventage receiver. Recently I upgraded the receiver to a Dennon x4700h and wanted to upgrade the speakers as well. I was on AVSForum and these and the RP 450C were highly recommended over and over again so I decided to pull the trigger. All I can say is Holy Crap!!!! Blows the Cambridge (which sounded great) out of the freaking water. The sound is so crisp, no distortion, and i don't have to turn the volume up nearly as high on the receiver. I have 2 Klispch SPL 12 subs and they hammer. I am in the process of replacing my surrounds with Klipsch bookshelves as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Not the absolute best, not mind blowing, but just great speakers. clear sound, loud, efficient, paired with a decent sub woofer and you will be very happy.

I purchased these to replace a pair of Polk Monitor II 70s. The key feature of these, for me, was their height. At 36 inches tall these allow me to mount my new TV six inches lower removing the feeling that I was looking up at the television. As a bonus, they sound fantastic when driven by my Peachtree Audio Decco65, I'm sure they could handle more power but even at 65 watts I rarely turn them up to more than 40% volume. I'm not a certified audiophile, so I won't talk about soundstage... but I love how they sound. I think they're equally attractive with and without the included speaker grill in walnut. The finish is nice (but is clearly MDF) and I appreciate the rubberized feet that won't scratch the floor. All in all, I'm very happy with the speakers and the service provided by IQ HOME ENTERTAINMENT who I purchased them from.

So happy with my purchase of two RP-5000F speakers. Paired with a Denon PMA-600NE receiver and they sound amazing. Super detailed and clean. Might add a subwoofer eventually but living room is probably around only 200sq ft and don't feel like a sub is necessary for it at this point. The bass on the speakers is sufficient. These are easy to setup with banana plug cables, ship in very secure packaging, and look great with or without the covers. Feet were already attached when they arrived.

I replaced my old bose speakers with these and I couldn't be happier. I've been working towards a pair of Klipsch speakers for awhile now. I have a Klipsch subwoofer and the center speaker, and finally got these tall speakers and they are great. I had a 7 year old onkyo receiver and it couldn't handle these speakers, or it was going out, I kept getting a lot of popping and static and after changing wires on everything, moving wires around, being on computer looking up why this was happening because it didn't sound good at all. I was almost afraid it was the speakers. But our last ditch hope was the receiver and not the speakers. So we got a Denon receiver and hooked it all up and very happy with everything. No static no popping and crystal clear. I'm not much on watching tv, never have been but I play music over my tv and I game, and its been wonderful. Sound is perfect, clear and nice. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Ho abbinato questi diffusori a un amplificatore cambridge audio cxa81. L'accoppiata è vincente poichè l'amplificatore è di per se molto fedele nella riproduzione senza esaltare una particolare gamma dinamica, quindi le klipsh possono esprimere al meglio senza strafare sia i bassi corposi che i famosi alti dati dal cono proprietario. Con questa coppia non sono riuscito ad arrivare oltre a metà volume dell'amplificatore, pena la distruzione dei timpani! Suonano forte senza mai distorcere, alti penetranti, medi e bassi avvolgenti. Sicuramente si può sempre fare di meglio, ma per un impianto decente siamo a livelli già alti, difficile volere di più in un ambiente domestico.
