Greatest Hits but Not the Greatest Re-Master!
This is a classic album, available on CD for long & for some time on Vinyl too. Somehow the remastering does NOT give the "analogue" feel to the overall sound and i could find quite little difference between the CD and this set. Cross-Talk or channel separation also isn't good, which leads to a smaller soundstage than expected. It's difficult to identify individual instruments in many tracks, where they seem to have come together in a tight spot! The intrinsic "brightness" of Queen's recordings are retained & are difficult to reign in without a dedicated equaliser, which I "had" to loop in. Bottomline - if you already own one the latest CD releases, do not bother with this...
