Double Sided Magnetic Window Cleaner with Adjustable Set (4-30mm)

I live on the sixth floor of my high-rise apartment building with a gorgeous 9 foot slider door that gives me massive amounts of sunlight, but the past three years my apartment building has skipped cleaning my windows and the windows of the units directly below me because we have an odd angle reaching our windows. The dirt on my slider has been maddening because I love bright sunlight and being able to see outside and all I’ve been able to see your dirty dirt spots all over my windows. I’ve been searching for a while to find some way to clean my windows, and I stumbled across a video of somebody using something similar to this one and I had to find it. It took about two weeks for mine to arrive, but it was worth the wait. I immediately took it out and it was getting dusk at my apartment. I put it together, which was really easy. You basically take it out of the package separate the two pieces, there’s a piece of plastic between the two so that the magnets don’t get stuck together. whatever you do when you take that apart do not set them together. You need glass between both pieces or you need that plastic or you won’t be able to get them apart again. Once you take them apart, they’ve got the cleaning felt pieces and some little white clips. You basically take the pieces and line them up on the inside of each side of the paddle and you use those little white clips and push them in until they lock in to place. You’ll hear them click once they do. If you only want to clean the outside of your window, you don’t need to get the inside piece wet but if you want clean both the inside and outside of the window at the same time, dip them both and whatever cleaning solution you’re gonna use make sure you have a rag for the inside if you don’t want anything dripping on your floor. be really careful when you set the outside piece against the glass and set the other piece on the inside, hold onto the outside piece and then dial it in until it holds into place. for me, it was 5. I actually could’ve used a magnet strength of maybe six or seven the five felt a little loose still but it still held on. Go slow when you’re doing the movement because if you go too fast, the two pieces will separate and the outside piece will drop off. It happened to me once doing it and I realized at that point I just needed to go slower, you’ll get the hang of it really easy. And it takes a little strength to move it. It’s a good workout lol. Once I got it down the motion that you need to twist it so that you get the first corner clean and then have the squeegee going from left or right or right to left where are you turning, it was really easy cause you just move it and the pads clean as you go and it squeegees as it goes along and then you just twist it and go back the other direction until you get all the way to the bottom. For me, it took less than five minutes to clean 1/2 of my slider. I’m absolutely thrilled. My window is so clean now! excited to have a clean slider again if they ever make it with a stronger magnet that like I said six or seven as the next notches up, I will definitely get it cause for whatever reason my slider is just a little thicker than what this is set for but still the five worked but make sure you’ve got that wire tether around your wrist and hooked in in case you do drop yours like mine dropped.

You need to have long arms to reach across the screen to reach the picture window you're trying to clean. If you have sofas or breakables, they will be threatened by the cleaning solution that needs to be near at hand as you're cleaning. When you bring in the parts after cleaning is complete, you'll have a dirty dripping mess to clean up in addition to the windows you've just cleaned unless you've planned ahead. The suction is the best part, but what good is the suction if you lose all the replacement sponges? They all fell off during the cleaning and before I was able to complete my window cleaning mission. This product is not easy to use. It takes much preparation in advance to prevent additional cleanup afterwards. Sponges fall off during use. This product is a great idea, but there needs to be much more in the research/development stage to make it into a product that every/anyone can use effectively.

I am very pleased, I haven't been able to clean my 3rd story window exterior since I bought this place in 2023. It assembled easily, with the use of a needle nose pliers to rotate the plastic pins. It did a great job, tho you really have to muscle it around. I wetted the pads, then used my favorite spray class cleaner on top. After that was done, I hung a dry red shop towel on the wiper and went over the window to remove excess liquid and residual smudges. One more time with a clean dry rag and it is very nice... Its not perfect, but the window looks so much better than before and I will use this whenever the need arises. :) Color me a satisfied customer.

So this is a story of the dirtiest windows this thing has probably ever cleaned. It’s easy to assemble - self explanatory and directions are simple. It comes with two sets of pads to use. My windows were clearly never cleaned since the apartment that I just moved into was renovated. The windows are the kind that make it difficult to clean unless you’re outside. The inside window closes into the outer window so it’s hard to clean directly under the outside window on the outer part of the inside window. ANYWAY. The first pic shows how dirty they are on the left. The right window top was done by hand on a ladder, and the bottom left is what the window squeegee did! *I pre cleaned the filthy windows by hand and you can see in the second photo it was horrible which is why I bought this. TLDR: Some may say they buy the replacement pads, but don’t do it right away. It says in the instructions to use detergent to soak the pads which I tried on the windows and it worked okay. I used windex next and it was a better result after soaking the outside of the window in windex and using the pad with windex. But you can wash the pads in n detergent when you’re done and let them dry. I’m not sure how many uses I’ll get out of them but they come pretty clean when you wash them. Side note: don’t forget to switch the magnet to a higher strength if you live on the fourth floor or anywhere really. I had mine drop and it hit the wall (I’m on the 4th floor) and had to go retrieve the pads because they became dislodged in the fall, twice actually. But you get the hang of it on the third try lol.

For me when the outside window is quite dirty it does not do a good job, a lot of streaks, film. If it wasn’t past the return window I’d send it back.

It took a minute to get used to the movement with the magnets but didn't take long. It works much like cleaning your car windshield. Once you get used to it, it was relatively easy. It will take some strength because of the magnets, so may be harder for some. Some streaking left behind on the first window I did, but as I got the hang of it, the other windows turned out great. Not the cheapest when you come to thinking about cleaning windows, but its also not something I'm going to do every week. For what it costs and cleaning the outside window every month or two, I think the cost is okay. However, you're really buying the device and magnet. If you really wanted to, I'm sure you could figure out how to get a reasonable cloth between them in place of the pads and still clean the window without replacement pads. Tip: Once you've cleaned a window, don't throw away the first pads. Just turn them over. They likely aren't so dirty on the backside that they're unusable. 1 pad (in each place) worked for two windows when flipping them over after cleaning the first window.

I bought this double-sided magnetic window cleaner mainly to save time — not because my windows are hard to reach. The idea is clever: clean both sides of the glass simultaneously and see the results instantly on each side. Sounds great in theory. In practice, it didn't work out for me. Getting the magnetic strength adjusted correctly was a struggle, and once set, moving the cleaner back and forth across the glass required more force than expected. Worse, the cleaning results were poor enough that I ended up redoing every window using my regular manual technique anyway — completely defeating the purpose. To be fair, the concept has merit and it may work better for others. But for me, it added effort rather than saving it. Tried it, couldn't make it work.

This is the hardest supposedly easy window cleaner I have ever encountered. #1 too loose & does not clean.#2 is slightly better but still does not work. Each step is more difficult to move the cleaner. I would return but unfortunately past the return date by 4 days. I tried it in my double pane windows & my single pane storm door window without success. If you are unable to remove your window screens it is useless. I followed all the instructions perfectly but am deeply disappointed in this product.

Funciona bastante bien con las limitaciones tipicas de estos cachivaches (cuesta un poco que las esquinas queden ok y las esponjas son bastante pequeñitas. Aun asi el resultado esta fenomenal. La fuerza del iman es perfecta. Al ser regulable se pega perfecto a la ventana mientras permite moverse agilmente sobre ella. Lo unico malo es que los imanes son tan fuertes que si se juntan ambas piezas por accidente es muy complicado separarlas !(haciendo palanca)

I am not usually one to write reviews but after buying a different brand of these window cleaners and having to send it back I thought I should write a review for this, it is quite a bit more expensive than the other versions of this cleaner but well worth the difference in cost. My windows are 20cm’s thick as I live in a glass block of apartments this tool worked perfectly, the magnets stick firm and the stronger wrist safety strap was helpful. When you use this make sure the pads are locked into place with the pins provided and that it is well soaked, this will help the system glide across the glass and the wiper blades work a bit more effectively. Work slowly and methodically when moving across the window and you will not be disappointed. Well worth the money and worth the investment.

Produkt zupełnie nie spełnia swojego zadania. Magnes niby silny, ale zewnętrzna część non stop odpada od szyby. Szyba nie dość, że nadal jest brudna, to teraz jeszcze jest porysowana..

We have double-glazed, thick windows (around 2 cm) that can’t be opened, so this product is a real lifesaver. The windows were very dirty and had white stains. The best way to use it is to start with the sponges (water mixed with detergent), then let the windows dry. After that, use a regular glass cleaner and only the squeegee, without the sponges. For double-glazed windows, strength level 4 is sufficient.

Ich brauche das, um nach aussen schwenkende Fenster im 3. Stock zu reinigen, 25 mm Mehrfachisolierverglasung. Die Einbauwinkel machen es auf der Außenseite bei dreien der Elemente schwierig, bei den anderen dreien ist es praktisch unmöglich. Also einige Suchen durchgeführt und letztlich hier gelandet. Was war mir wichtig? Vor allem die verstellbare Stärke und die Möglichkeit, das Reinigungsmittel für aussen direkt aufzutragen. Funktioniert es ja? Ja, ich fädele die Sicherung so ein, dass ich das Außenelement immer absichere. Nötig war das noch nicht. Dann setzt man die Elemente durch die Scheibe an und erhöht dann die Magnetkraft nach Bedarf, bei mir nehme ich die volle Stärke. Auftragen und abziehen funktioniert dann nach dem Prinzip "aussen folgt innen", wobei die Form die Richtungswechsel erleichtert. Wird es 100% perfekt? In der Fläche ja, Ecken sind fummeliger ... da muss jeder sehen, was genügt. Ich benutze eine wenig verdünnte Spirituslösung, das wird mit den meisten Verschmutzungen fertig und Reste verfliegen fast unsichtbar. In der Gesamtwürdigung gebe ich die volle Punktzahl ... mein Problem ist sehr zufriedenstellend gelöst. Anmerkung: Das Gefahrensymbol und der Klemmschutz sind nicht ohne Grund am Produkt ... definitiv kein Spielzeug, die Magneten haben richtig Bumms!
