Great looking kitchen set. Easy to assemble, except for when one of the screws broke into a piece. Ordered the piece on Kidkraft website and was sent a replacement quickly and free of charge. Love the lights and sounds. The doors have to be pushed in firmly to close, so that might be an issue for younger ones. But my 4 year old son is getting a hang of it. The ice dispenser is cool. The set fits most Melissa and Doug items, except the white plates don’t fit in the microwave. May have to get smaller plates. The kitchen set is a little smaller than the original but I love all the features. UPDATE: 3 years later, and this kitchen set is still holding strong. I now have a two year old daughter and she absolutely loves it. She’s a bit more rough when playing compared to my son, but the set is super sturdy. The lights and sounds still work too! Very happy with my purchase.

We got this for my daughter for her second birthday. She is coming on her third in a couple of months and she still uses it all the time. The only wear and tear is we've had is that the knobs for the stove appear to get stuck in the clicking sound and it will go on for a long time uh unless you find out which knob it was and turn it back. This is probably due to my kid spinning them like there's no tomorrow for many months. Other than that, the kitchen still is like new. That said, we do not have a terribly destructive child. We are pretty strict with her so she learns to be nice to her toys. I cannot attest to how long this would last a kid who tries to climb it or pulls on the doors or throws things at it. My kid is also huge for her age, probably a year ahead in growth. It makes it easier for her to play with everything. She loves to organize old plastic juice or milk bottles filled with rice or beans in all the cupboards. This has been a great buy for us. It took a couple of hours for my husband to put it together and he is a read directions and do it right kind of guy. I took her out for well over an hour and it wasn't quite finished when we got back. This may be easier with two people. It is pretty sturdy sitting there but I don't know how well it will survive our next move. It is not the kind of thing you disassemble once it's put together.

I bought this kitchen for my granddaughter to play with when she comes over. She loves this kitchen and I love that she can play with for years to come as she grows. It is a beautiful play kitchen and vera well made. Be prepared to spend a good deal of time putting it together, but it will be well worth ot in the end. My only complaint is with the microwave. The door just will not stay shut know matter what. I ended up fixing this by cutting a command strip in half and using it which fit perfectly and works great the only downside with that being that you then have to push the door open button ready hard for it to open but it still will open or you can just use the handle and open it that way.

Our 19m old got this kitchen for Christmas and it’s been a big hit! We researched play kitchens for a few months and wanted one she wouldn’t outgrow quickly. This was one of the taller ones (fridge and counter height). This size will fit her for many years! It wasn’t terrible to put together, but it does take some time. We were going to have it on our carpet, but it feels more sturdy on the laminate. They do include a wall anchor as well. The doors are a little hard to close at first, as the snaps are in the bottom corners, but they seem to be moving a little more easily now. With that being said, we also have to teach our daughter not to push the doors back too far, because they would snap. Good thing she’s a good listener 🙂. Her accessories are mostly Melissa and Doug. The condiments and food fit nicely in the fridge and the cans can fit on the shelf. The “full em up cups” work well with the ice dispenser, however the ice cubes with this M&D set will NOT go through the dispenser. The M&D cookie tube fits standing up or laying down in the fridge, but you cannot pull the cookie tray in and out of the oven. You have to put it in at an angle. None of which is a deal breaker for us. The M&D pots and pans fit great on the stovetop and in the dishwasher for storage. Love that there are sounds and lights with this kitchen. The burners light up and they make a gas lighting sound and then a boiling sound. The microwave also lights up and makes a running sound and beeps when finished. I wish the oven would light up as well but that’s ok. I agree the sounds are loud, but it doesn’t bother our daughter at all. A final note of the microwave is you have to use really small plates in it. The plate we have is from the fisher price food truck and it’s 4.5” diameter. Anything bigger will not fit. We are very happy with our purchase and would recommend to anyone who has a child who loves to play kitchen.

Bought this for my 2 year old twin grandchildren's birthday. It was the only present they were interested in at their party. They are obsessed with it. They particularly love the beeping microwave. It is also good looking and realistic, just like Mom and Dads. It did take me about 3 hours to put together. The instructions were easy to follow and I particularly liked the 3D instructions which I highly recommend downloading. That way you can pivot the diagram around from different angles. My only criticism is that the screws were really hard to screw in, so my husband had to do a lot of them. I am pleased with the quality and it is sturdy.

Es realmente una pasada. Es muy bonita, y tiene unos detalles preciosos, como los fogones, el microondas y la nevera. Vale muchísimo la pena comprarla, si en la casa hay pequeños chef’s, pues les encantará. A pesar que el montaje lleva un buen rato, está súper bien indicado todo, por lo que resulta muy sencillo montarla. Todas y cada una de las piezas, están enumeradas, incluidos los tornillos que hay que utilizar en cada pieza. La recomiendo al 100%, sin dudarlo. Una gran compra!

Not very cheap, but worth every cent. Everything works well, very sturdy, the buttons and sounds make it more realistic. Birthday present for our 2 year old was a huge success!

- montage: très bien expliqué et très facile (les pièces sont numérotées dans l'ordre et toutes les vis sont très bien rangées et elles aussi numérotées) mais très long (j'ai mis plus de 2h, avec un tournevis électrique), notamment parce que les étiquettes permettant l'identification des pièces sont difficiles à enlever (même si elles sont mises du côté où elles ne se voient pas- je suis assez perfectionniste ^^). Mais 2h assez agréable, comme la notice était très claire... - finitions du produit très satisfaisantes: les têtes des vis sont de la même couleur que la planche sur lesquelles elles doivent être montées, et c'est fort appréciable. L'image du fond est de très bonne qualité, et sur une planche assez épaisse (pas un simple bout de carton qui peut se casser en deux minutes). Les piles sont fournies. Il y a une étagère dans le frigo. - solidité : a l'air d'être un produit de très bonne qualité et solide. Des planches assez epaisses et qui ne s'effritent pas comme celles vendues par Ikea/Conforama. A confirmer dans quelques mois ! - grandeur: pour mon fils qui a bientôt 3 ans, la cuisinière est vraiment grande, j'en suis ravie ! - chaque plaque peut s'allumer (devient rouge quand on tourne le bouton correspondant) et imite le bruit de l'eau qui bout, c'est assez bien fait. - j'adore le micro-onde, qui tourne avec une lumière rouge et sonne 10 secondes plus tard, et le bouton qui permet d'ouvrir la porte toute seule. Dommage cependant que les autres boutons du micro-ondes ne fassent pas de bruit. - deux autres points qui pourraient être améliorés : je n'ai pas l'impression qu'il soit facile de faire tomber les glaçons + dommage que la porte du four s'ouvre sur le côté et non par le haut comme les nôtres En conclusion, pour moi qui vient tout juste de l'acheter et la monter, je suis vraiment ravie par le produit qui devrait vraiment plaire à mon fils. Je trouvais le prix élevé mais après l'avoir vu, je pense que le produit le vaut bien !
