Bought the Fluke 101 to help avoid taking my more expensive DMMs into the field and needed this magnetic holder. It's quite a bit less costly than the OEM version but it works just fine. It threads through the slot at the top back of the 101, adjusts to length with velcro, and easily supports the weight when attached to anything steel like a junction box or conduit support. Quality seems fine and it should take a beating easily. A good purchase.

As a mechanic, finding a way to position your multimeter when troubleshooting has always been a challenge. This is an excellent alternative solution. The magnet is strong enough to hold my meter to most surfaces. The exception is to a whiteboard; I attribute this to the slick surface.

It definitely holds up my meter and makes it easier to work with in tight spaces. I applied a thin piece of rubber on one side of it because on some metal surfaces (possibly due to paint or other reasons) it slides a little. Overall it holds the weight and I am glad I bought it. In all my years of working with meters this is the first magnet strap I have bought and will never have a meter with out it now.

Im using this strap on my Fluke meter, and even though this fit perfectly, the generic strap doesnt allow the meter to hang straight most of the time. I'll have to manipulate the meter to stay straight in place, while i try reading it. The magnet, however, is strong, and works great. So overall, theres pro & con. I got what i paid for. I suggest paying extra, and getting the real deal.

This strap is very handy to have especially when using the meter to work on a car. I was able to perform tests, hang the meter under the hood and see the results much easier. Definitely a nice add for not a lot of money.

Works as advertised

Use this multiple times a day, moving my dmm around. Hold is trustworthy and strong.

Good quality for the price and it arrived on time. It doesn't come with the plastic clip that attaches to the back of fluke meters. But I made it work no problem.
