Good quality, but wish they make smaller quantity in one box
This is the second brand of snap caps that I got, previously I brought ones that were made out of aluminum, you would imagine they will be long lasting and works just as good as brass shells since they were both soft metal. But I was wrong, they kept getting stuck in the chamber, and upon close inspection, there were a lot of scratch marks and operation only gone worse over time. These snap caps are different:1. They are made out of plastic, they retain their shape fairly well after practice.2. I am not sure if it is good for dry firing, but I have been using them to dry fire besides malfunction drills.3. Bright orange color, so they are easily distinguishable from real ammunition.Cons:1. I can't see why I need 50 of these, so share it with your buddy?2. Container box is rather on the flimsy side, but its a box, you should care more about the value of the practice tool.

Pricey but worth it. Great snap caps for cycling mags.
Just what I expected. Good polymer base. Thermoset like an aluminum cartridge. Low friction so I can fire and cycle the mag without misfire or blockage.I got the 9mm size. All 50 fit with room to spare. I took them all out into a tray anyway for ease and am using the Glock plastic box for accessories, wiping cloth brush, special rounds, and other more suitable contents for this box.I have a metal framed laser snap cap ($79) and it’s fine for drawing and acquisition but not cycling mags. I can’t practice changing mags and cycling with one chambered round. This is for speed and muscle memory. The Glock box was a bonus and is being put to better use than holding other things (I put the dryers in a ziplock...they’re not going to explode). Thanks Amazon and thanks Glock. No other armorer sells this to my knowledge and at this quality. Very happy. 40-50 rounds in one minute while cycling.Always cycling After releasing a round may lead to fatal habits everyone knows that, but it’s a skill that must be learned. That’s all I got these for and they do the job.I got it so my girlfriend can learn without being too afraid.

Work Well But…
I really like these dummy rounds. They run through my Glock 43X great. The only downside is that they are plastic. When doing some malfunction reload drills, I noticed that the rim of the “casing” is cracking off and breaking after using them a few times. It’s not a big deal but I guess that thats why they give you 50 of them! Overall happy with them. They are affordable and easy to use.

Good Practice Aide
They have held up with fairly heavy use. Good training aide. Very clearly not a real round so very low possibility for confusion.

These products are not good
I am the Rangemaster for the Maryland Police Training Commission Firearms Range. I bought these new dummy rounds for training new recruits and practicing reloading, loading, and unloading techniques. The website said you could get 3000 uses out of them and how durable they were. This is day 2 of training and the attached Pic is only a sample of what we have. The polymer does not hold up at all to the steel components of a pistol. As you can see on the rim of the case, the extractor is breaking and marring the plastic just from racking the slide in a normal fashion. Not as advertised!!
