Brother MFC-L3750CDW Colour Laser Printer - All-in-One, Wireless/USB 2.0, Printer/Scanner/Copier/Fax Machine, 2 Sided Printing, A4 Printer, Small Office/Home Office Printer

My previous Brother printer finally stopped working after nearly 15 years. Because of this I ordered another Brother printer. It is on the large size, but honestly it is the best printer I have ever had. Prints, scans, copies, back-to-back printing, generous paper tray, i-printing straight from your phone or tablet, automatic paper feed. What’s not to like? Hopefully should last me another 15 years if not longer. Totally worth the cost.

This printer is a high quality desktop unit. It’s pretty big and weighs a ton but you can tell it’s well built. I read that others found it hard to install. For me it took literally 2 minutes. It searches for WiFi and is simple to follow. (I use all mac). My first job was to test from each device (desktop iMac, MacBook Pro, and IPhone 11pro and iPhone 6. Worked first time with each. I leave mine in all the time. No issue with standby - the prints aren’t as good as my my Ricoh (but that was a commercial colour copier costing 9k) however fir a home unit it’s hard to fault. Not tried duplex yet as so far not needed but no doubt this would be ok. Scanning is also very easy and fast - no issues and the detail is great. Overall I’m glad I paid a little more for this as it’s well worth it.

Setup was a breeze. There isn’t really much to do to get it physically working. Until I tried connecting it to our wireless network. I was expecting some troubles as we have a very secure WiFi setup and very few things will connect automagically. I ended up having to connect using the printer’s virtual keyboard on the touch screen. And that’s where the problem came to light. The keys on the virtual keyboard are tiny. It was impossible to touch the correct key without touching at least three surrounding keys. Luckily, I have a capacitative stylus (that I got to avoid using my finger on supermarket touch screens). Even then, I had to use the fine point. Once it was setup, however, it’s been a dream. Print quality is very good (except for colour photos, but I expected that) and using the scanner to produce OCR’d PDF documents works so much better than it had with my HP monochrome MFD. The printer is in my bedroom, so noise levels were important. And it is unexpectedly quiet. One week after delivery I am totally satisfied.

I purchased this printer to replace our existing MFC-L3750CDW, it was supplied with drum DR-273CL which is not compatible with original Brother TN243 or TN247 UK ink cartridges. It has a different notch profile which does not allow the UK brother ink cartridge to sit into the drum DR-273CL. This printer must be from a different region. Luckily, I kept the drums DR-243CL from the previous MFC-L3750CDW printer I was throwing out and these can fit in this printer from a different region and it works well. However if your buying this for the UK and the supplied ink runs out and you then order the TN243 ink cartridges which are the correct ink cartridges for the UK MFC-3750CDW printer, you will find they will not fit in the supplied drum. This means you would have a further expense to purchase the correct drums for the UK which are the DR-243CL so that the UK specified TN-243 or TN247 ink cartridges will fit. The original DR-243 will add over £100 to the costs. Just something to be aware off.

Replacement for a previous Brother Laser Printer - now with added scanning, copying and fax capabilities. Bit of a beast for one person to unpack and instal - but there are bigger devices available if you prefer! Set-up was easy. Plug and paly the printer and install the software from the CD. All worked as expected first time around. Used in a Vicarage Office where the printing needs are moderate but with big spikes at peak times like Easter, Remembrance and Christmas when we are printing lots of extra service sheets. Happy with the quality. No jams or other printing errors. Yet to try everything (who uses Fax anyway?) but very pleased. Only downside is the small starter cartridges. Key Black is already low and a new set ordered. Bonus is that the cartridges don't seem as expensive as for the previous HL-4150 Printer. Added bonus - three year warranty for free at the moment!

Excellent value especially at reduced price. My Canon inkjet printer and Samsung multifunction laser printer died within 2 weeks of each other, both aged about 8 years. The inkjet printer used to drink ink even when sleeping so researched colour multifunction laser printers which should work out a lot cheaper to run. Very pleased with print quality, both B&W and colour. Even photos print very well on the recommended 120gsm Colotech+ Gloss Coated paper. Not noticeably inferior to a good inkjet print unless compared side by side and even then not bad at all. Colours were slightly different but either could be 'true'. Obviously settings can be altered. I have access to a good Epson 5-colour inkjet printer for any important photos. Negative points: It is a big beast! Not ideal for domestic use unless you have an appropriate computer room or office. Check the dimensions! You cannot do semi-manual scanning of double-sided documents using the ADF by feeding them in one way then the other way as can be done with an ancient (14 yrs) Brother scanner/copier/printer at work. You have to scan each page of double sided documents individually using the flat bed. The virtual buttons on the display screen need pressed firmly. Slight concern regarding reports of the fuser falling to bits and of paper handling problems but is not going to get heavy use. Brother original toner very expensive but apparently compatibles are available. Having had it a month I'd give it 5 stars for sure. Just hope I'm not back in a year to report disasters and problems!

Fobbed off to Brother and unable to help in any way when Brother couldn’t. The ink cannot be reset so you have to throw away perfectly good ink... it won’t let you print a single page after the counter hits its target.

Such easy installation! Connected to wifi on spot. Not loud while process, very nice printing quality. And smaller size than same type of other Laser printers. Really good. I amvery happy with this purchase.

Der Drucker ist hervorragend verpackt, schnell aufgebaut und leicht zu installieren. Alles über die mitgelieferte CD oder aus dem Netz von Brother auf dem PC installieren und schon läuft alles wie gewünscht. Die Möglichkeiten sind sehr umfangreich und vor allem die Druckqualität hervorragend. Auch scannen geht schneller als erwartet. Ich kann das Gerät vorbehaltlos empfehlen.

Fácil de usar y configurar. Detectada facilmente desde Linux Ubuntu a traves de wifi sin hacer nada y por supuesto también desde Windows instalando el software que trae. También superfacil de usar desde el movil. Tiene infinidad de opciones a traves de la nube y por ejemplo escanea y envia directamente por email solo con introducirlo en la pantalla tactil. Muchas funciones y caracteristicas por el precio que tiene

All in one working smoothly and properly.. WIFI connection is so easy and reliable, no more cables for users to access the printer, the printing is so fast and clear, I am very happy with it and totally recommend it .. IT HAS SCANNER , PHOTO COPIER , FAX - PRINTER and so many other features in convenient price and durability.
