Easy to clean, doesn't get hot in the sun.
Rec Prow vinyl marine flooring. One word fantastic.I have a 24 ft. 25 year old pontoon boat that looks new again.A bear to take the rug off and prep the floor , could not get all the old glue off even with a 80lb floor sander. Only used 1 gal of rec Pro glue, I put glue down heavy but no puddles with paint tray and medium roller. I think the key was I waited for 80 degree weather . Three of us put it down , pulled the vinyl tight and hit edges with a staple gun. That took about 30 minutes. Also 3rd person on top pushing from center to edge with a vinyl roller.Almost went with thicker woven vinyl flooring but found out it gets too hot to walk on in sun. The rec pro 1 piece vinyl is much cooler on the bare feet.It looks like it will last longer than me. Great product.floor and glue.

It works
This was easy to deal with. Seemed to ahere good. After initial may of vinyl on this it would not slide. Had to make sure straight and square before laying down.I think this worked good.

Good product, but don’t skimp
Good adhesion, directions could have been clearer. Applied as directed but was too thin and did not adhere correctly so needed to redo with thicker application which gave proper adhesion.

Quality
Sticks well for pontoon boat vinyl flooring. Dont think i will have any problems with bubbling or separation down the road. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. Quality stuff

Vinyl floor install
This glue is a thinner glue and I recommend generously spreading with a 1/2 in knap roller vs. a notched trowel. Roll on thick so it adheres. I would recommend doing to large of an area as it seems to dry and tack up quickly. I worked a 10 ft section on pontoon, but ended up doing a 5x8 section due to it drying to quickly. I shows needing 2 gallons but I did my 20x8 ft pontoon with one gallon.

Not good on all surfaces
The only surface this stuff will adhere to is wood and that is still a bit iffy. DO NOT try and use this to apply on aluminum surfaces, it simply will not work. I wish I would have known this before I spent $55 on an entire gallon!! The boat I am replacing the carpet with vinyl flooring is almost completely aluminum so I had to go to Home Depot and spent another $40 on contact cement which is the recommended adhesive to use on aluminum surfaces. Even on wood surfaces it takes at least 48 hours to set up enough for me to take off the spring clamps I used to hold the vinyl in place.

Great marine adhesive for plywood floor
worked great for replacing worn out carpet with nautolex marine vinyl flooring in my 18 foot bayliner. filled in knot holes in the plywood, sanded rough areas, then rolled on the adhesive with a paint roller on the plywood and on the bottom side of the vinyl flooring, let it get tacky, then laid the flooring down and rolled it with a roller. i'm really pleased with the results!

Avoid this product
This is the worst glue I have ever used. It’s like rubber cement does not adhere whatsoever and rubs off in gumballs. I made a big mess to clean up with a worthless glue. I was using it to put a rubber floor mat onto fiberglass. It does not work at all. I regret buying this product and would warn anybody to avoid it.
